The controls are ♥♥♥♥, had to use a controller to play it :C

Having this exact same problem here, anytime I change the controls to what I want, press OK to save changes it says Ok but reverts them back to default anyway
I got it after changing you have to press the custom button below again... that´s weird

I had the same problem. Theres an odd trick to it where you click in a certain spot. You will know the game finally accepted your changes if it tells you its saving when you leave the controls menu. I'll try and remember exactly what I did.

EDIT: NM ^ you figured it out.

Yeah its a strange trick, after I adjusted my controls, I clicked the space between OK and back on the bottom... It worked somehow, they need to add a save controls buttons down there lol.

Um, can someone provide an actual step-by step diagram or something as to how this works? I'm stuck here also pulling my hair out trying to rebind my keys.

Actually no. It saves them and in game i was using my custom controlls. I wish this game had same controll scheme as Remake remaster

Actually, i reentered in the game and RIP controlls.
OK You go to OPTIONS>>CONTROLS>>

Then you select CUSTOM

REBIND YOUR KEYS

after that press ESC that brings you back from the re-defining option to where you can select custom or default at the top of the screen.

And then there is a button as the bottom right where it says original or alternate. I selected original and PRESSED ENTER then it worked for me.

controlls are easy to get used to anyway. and mouse seems to be mapped by default although it is not mentioned in the default controlls. I really like switch target shortcut.

Cheers, that did it for me, was looking for some invisible button between back and ok like some previous people were saying instead.
Well this port and version certainly isn't off to a good start already then =(

Ok, got it working via that method too.... rather strange way to do it but working at least. Thanks all !

Lol? Are you kidding me?

Kidding how?
This was the most unintuitive way and method of 'confirming' my custom binds that I've seen in a game to date, most other proper things have you change them, then click confirm and voila - you're done. That I had to come here to the discussions and find some obscure abstract extra step and method to set this in place very much indeed gives me cause for concern.
