Haunting Ground HD petition?

Haunting Ground was released on PS2, and while it was a very populated console, it never got a chance to shine, mostly due to Resident Evil 4 coming out shortly after. Physical copies of the game are usually rare and expensive. A new horror IP, next to a well established horror IP proved to be fatal to Haunting Ground, and it's only recently that it has seen some regained popularity, but most people can't get their hands on it. The game was also released on PS3 but only in Japan, which I find truly unfair. It's up to us to make the HD port happen!

I just want to say +1 to this and especially to Dino Crisis, but just to give you guys heads up if the website GOG aka Good Old Games release it you could just buy the old pc version on there. It's a great game I know, but the site is good as well, they get old games from 80's 90's 2000 basically anything that is old and wouldn't work on our modern computers making us put patches out and stuff to fix it. Well the site does it all for us, you can buy many things on there, gift people items as well, the site is cheap and extremely easy to use. They even give free games out at times they gave me Witcher 2 for free on the site. As I said though it's useful and say for example you got Alien 2000 on steam and a friend had it on gog well they can play it with you it has cross platform the same as System shock 2 does. It is a good website and worth to give it a good look at, a lot of popular youtubers/streamers recommend it and I do stream/youtube, I'm not popular but hey I enjoy doing so and so far we are getting people slowly but steady doing well.

There's been some articles about Outbreak's HD port so I'd say it's happening. It went exactly the same way with 0 last year.

Haunting Ground is, like, the most underrated PS2 game ever. Highly optimized(loading screen only occurs when cutscenes come out, otherwise you can basically run from one end of the place to another with absolutely no pace-breaking load screen), good looking for its time.

Unlike Clock Tower 3, which ended up being a Mahou Shoujo type of game that made me stop looking at it seriously, Haunting Ground is the closest anyone can get to a fully 3D, modern Clock Tower experience; it's the TRUE Clock Tower 3 to me.

If they can improve the 3D models and textures for today's hardware, the game will look AMAZING. Capcom's upper management may not want to remaster the game though; it's just not big a brand like Resident Evil.

Exactly! I can relate to every single thing you said and agree 100%. However, there's a rumor going on that Capcom's remaking Outbreak, which runs on the same engine as Haunting Ground. Maybe it'll make it somehow easier for them to port HG over?
