No Empty Bottles?

Playing my first playthrough on Steam and come to realize I haven't come across any empty bottles. I have all this gas but didn't find and bottles on the train and now that I'm in the training facility there are no empty bottles where they should be either.

Maybe just a bug and hopefully will be fixed with a new game but has anyone else come across this issue?

There's more gas than bottles for some reason. Even if you get 100% of both, you'll have a surplus of useless gas.

There's empty bottles in the freezer on the train that the zombie comes out of. If you wanna find items I'd recommend using the interactive map on Evil Resource. https://www.evilresource.com/resident-evil-zero/maps

Even I don't have any problems finding empty bottles. try looking closely for any bottles that flashes as usable items. These bottle if combined with gas canister can make good weapons(most commonly called the Molotov). Molotov cocktails are especially useful against Mimicry Marcus(whom the leeches have been mimicking as Dr.Marcus).If enough fire damage is inflicted on the mimicry, it will die. On the plus side they do not explode when killed by fire based munitions. So it is safer method to dispose these creatures.
