What order to play the games?

Whats the best order to play the resident evil games?
Are there any important ones I miss because they are not on pc?

1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 0 -> Code Veronica -> 4 -> Revelations 1 -> 5 -> Revelations 2

Just pretend 6 doesn't exist.

The plot is that couple of hours before Chris Jill Wesker, and Barry went into the mansion Rebecca was in the train.

According to the series timeline order: RE0 > RE > RE2 > RE3(*) > RECV > RE4 > RER > RE5 > RER2 > RE6

(2 and 3 are pretty much simultaneous, but 3's plot ends one day after)

According to each game original release date: RE > RE2 > RE3 > RECV > RE0 > RE4 > RE5 > RER > RE6 > RER2

Btw, if you are a PC only user you'll be missing RECV.

You still want to play RE0 AFTER RE1 because RE0 spoils a pretty big plot early on for RE1 that you wouldn't have known if you've never played the RE series, even though RE0 does happen before the events of RE1.

I've played 1 long ago back on playstation 1 so spoilers are not a problem, i just want to play through the story in the right order.

Then 0, 1, 2, 3, CV, 4, RER, 5, RER2 and RE6 is what you're looking for. Be careful with RE6 though, as it has a pretty messed up story and playing that game in story order would require constant switching between campaigns.

Played it long ago, and just finished the remake the other day :)
