Chessboard puzzle
Hi guys,

I am having a problem in the mansion, when you enter a room with a chessboard - as I undertand you need to move figures as it is shown on the table. The problem, however, is that I cannot figure out an order in which the figures need to be moved.

Everytime I try to solve the puzzle, Billy dies because of poison. I understand that you need to use anti-poison herbs, and I have it in invetory but even with that - Billy dies anyway.

I spent lots of time trying to solve it but no success. I do not want to look at youtube videos because they contain spoilers which I hate. Can somebody give me a hint what to do, because I am reall stuck here.

Thanks

Not a very good answer, but It's kind of impossible to give you a hint without spoiling it, at least for me. You'd need to have more patience to figure it out.

Simple tip, if you move a piece and poison comes out, don't move it again.

Ok, do I need to move other figures to the spot from where poison comes? I noticed there was a one figure which does not have a poison trap. But the thing - is it is kinda impossible to have the picture as it is shown on the table simply because you do not have enough time to do it before Billie dies.

This no-trap figure (queen or king) is the only one you need to move to solve the puzzle.

I second this.

Thank you. I actually solved it. It appears that I just overcomplicated this puzzle, and it was really that simple.

lol the problem with this puzzle was that on the desk the picture of the board does not mirror the actual chessboard, so I thought there is a need to move all figures - in reality, you only need to move one.
