I think it's a problem with certain games/discord.
My friend had to do the same thing with Genshin Impact.
Have you tried borderless windowed? That might work.
yes, game works bad in Fullscreen mode. in fact ALT+TABing back-n-forth crashes the game
either stream in Windowed max resolution, or use DxWnd to fix that issue
allows to launch any applications (and games) in any resolution, mode, change formats, filters and such
rarestMeow already mentioned the game having windowed mode and brought up DxWnd as another option to get around crashes related to Alt-Tabing and because it supports many other modes including proper borderless windowed mode.
You post seems slightly antagonistic and adds nothing.
I apologize for saying you added nothing previously. I didn't like your attitude when I read your post, so I got bit a snarky there. That was thoughtless of me. I'm sorry.
As for the rest...
It's same suggestion you gave one year later, which was what the OP was already doing, which was to continue using windowed mode.
Also...
OP...
DxWnd supports borderless window mode, which is why rarestMeow suggested it, as he was answering the OP.
Lastly, if you search this forum for the words 'alt tab' you'll see people saying that the game crashes for them when they alt-tab while they are in fullscreen mode. Every PC has different hardware/software so not every game will behave exactly the same in every situation for all users. Sometimes people will encounter issues in a game that others don't.
Perhaps, this may clear some things up a bit.
Nothing but silliness I'm afraid. My fault. :/
my point is - who cares - who and what writes on that board? whatever, there are new threads and games to discuss, instead of arguing here
