- Kill the leech man with molotovs. There is plenty of them. no need to waste regular ammo on them. Use Flamegrenades only when it gets critical. (Low health, no healing, cornered)
- Billy shoots faster, Rebecca throws quicker.
- The Pistols are equal to each other. It doesnt matter, which one you gave the upgrade
- If you pick up stuff at the train once it will appear in the train passage later on.
Train
- dont fight the leech man
- Use the knife against the scorpion
- After you killed the scorpion, use area to travel through that wagon instead of the lower level
Training Facility
- Dont go to the west wing of the Training Fac. until you have both microfilms. That way you can avoid conflict with the leech man easily
- dont fight the leech man in the west wing hallway and the toiletts
- dont fight the leech man in the broadcast room
- dont fight the leech man in the narrow corrdor with maintanence room at its and
(if you dont visit the old lab at the same corridor he wont spawn anyway)
Basement
- you dont need to kill the spiders. If you have trouble with them, kill one or two. A single spider can be easily avoided. Even with two chars at the same time.
- Boost Rebecca up through the shaft, switch back to Billy and go to the Boiler Room
That way you spare yourself some trouble with some monkeys
- Never go back to the torture room. Its not worth it
- Dont waste more than one grenade for a hunter. One grenade + one 9mm bullet is usually enough to kill to a single one of them
Laboratory
- The bat have trouble to pick you up, when you stay near the door to church back room
- The bat can be stunlocked with grenades
- If the stunlock fails, use the pistol, not the shotgun. A missed pistol round is easier to compensate then a missed shotgun round.
- The char that goes upstairs should carry the grenade launcher and a pistol.
- The hunters in the breeding room can be fought easier, when you walk backwards near to the cages until they get triggered. The 180° turn is often to slow for that. Again: One grenade for each hunter is enough
- I would suggest to fight both leech man. Makes your live a little easier.
- Before you leave with the cable car, give Billy some stuff you wont need yet. Firegrenades, Magnumround(s), Healing stuff...
Factory & Treatment Plant
- There is no need to kill the two hunters in the factory. Just run by the first run and knock down the second one with the shotgun. Equip the shotgun after you have passed the first one. Equiped weapons make you slower.
- The first fight with the tyrant is very easy. Just bait him to do his jump attack and fire into his back. As long as you keep your distance he will always jump around. Always run past by his normal arm
- The second tyrant fight is a little tougher. Combos with shotgun and grenade launcher will do the trick but you can "waste" 1-2 Magnumrounds on him, too. I usually fight him with Billy only.
- The Lurker on the Dam can be outruned if you have no weapons equiped and are at fine health.
- You shouldn't waste magnum rounds but there are two scenarios where it might be usefull:
1. The second fight against the tyrant
2. The two hunters at the walkway between the generator room and the lodgings.
(equip the magnum, go in, kill one hunter, go out and go in again with the gl or the shotgun)
- Queen Leech I is bullet sponge class AAA but it hates magnumrounds. Asides from the rocket launcher its the only weapon that has stopping power against the Queen. So make sure that have atleast 20 rounds to spare. Give one char the GL (Fire grenades), order him to stay put at the beginning and run around the Queen so you can attack at it from two sides. That way chances are good, that you get out there unharmed.
- For Queen II I suggest to do this: Give Billy the Magnum and the Pistol and some health. Beccs keeps the Launcher and also some health.
At the beginning give the Queen hell until your magnum ammo drains to 4-5 shots. Use the pistol until phase 2 of the fight. Now use combos of 1 magnum round and pistol shots to keep the queen away from Beccs.
I raged when then game gave me an elevator with 4 floors and I did not have to patience to endure that many loading animations and screens.
After about 1 hour of moving $hit back and forth...
I give Billy a shotgun and Becky a GL. Then just ran through the content.
Finished the game in 45 mins :/
Worst final boss, worst Tyrant Boss and not even adorable Rebecca could save this game
