Can't Launch Arma II: DayZ Mod From ANY Launcher

I have recently bought Arma II: Combined Operations, but I can't launch the DayZ Mod. I can't launch it from any launcher. On every launcher it doesn't recognize my Arma files or my mods for it (Just DayZ). So it tells me to manually do it. So I manually put the system paths in, but it still says that it can't recognize them. And no, this is not a pirated game, I bought it. So there shouldn't be any problems with that. Someone please help. I don't know why this is happening but it's really annoying me. Thanks

Hey man I brought ArmA 2 through steam with all dlcs and cant get mine to work on any launcher

Yes I did! DO NOT USE DAYZ COMMANDER! Use DayZ Launcher. DayZ Commander was shut down for some reason. Here is a link for DayZ Launcher - http://dayzlauncher.com/

I'm not sure if there are any other steps. But what you need to do is just Download Arma2, Arma2 Operation Arrowhead, and the DayZ Mod. Then launch A2 and A2 Operation Arrowhead once. Then open DayZ Launcher, and make sure that you installed DayZ Launcher on the same hard drive as the games. And then under the mods tab. select DayZ 1.8.6.1 and then find a vanilla server. If you want to play any mods or maps, just download them and put them in this directory - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead

And then in DayZ Launcher, just select the mod and map you want to play on. Well, I am not sure if that's how maps work, but I know that is how mods work. Hope this helps :D

I could be wrong, but I don't think you need the DayZ Mod from steam, since you are just downloading it again with DayZ Launcher. The mod is just Vanilla DayZ, so it should be the same thing as DayZ 1.8.6.1 on the launcher. But other than that, you have your directions correct. It really wasn't all that hard once you figured it out was it? Alot of people assume its a huge pain and a long process to get the mod working properly, but if they would just use google to find a guide it would be so much easier. lol

Yeah. It only took me a long time to figure out because almost all the turorials on YouTube and forums and stuff are outdated. And they all tell you to use DayZ Commander, when that doesn't even work anymore.
