How do i combine ArmA 2 and OA into Combined Ops?

I didn't purchase the Combined Ops pack, instead, i purchased ArmA 2 a long time ago, and just now i bought OA, how do i combine those two to make it Combined Ops?

Well, to be honest, all you need to do is get the combined ops patch and it assumes that you got them together. Coz when I got Combined Ops, I had to download and install them as two separate games and then patch them with DayZCommander using a CO beta patch. I can play DayZ by the end of that process.

I don't think there is a difference. I did the same thing and after I installed OA it just shows all the original Arma 2 stuff in game when I run OA.

If you have both of them installed seperately then you have Combined Ops don't worry. Combined Ops just allows you to buy them both I'm guessing as they are both needed for DayZ. Don't worry, I bought them both seperatly and can run DayZ and Arma 2 OA fine

Ah i see, now i launched OA and i saw that the stuff from the original ArmA 2 has also loaded, i also installed DayZ and it works perfectly, thanks Walt!

Well guys I need help. I have the same problem. When i launched OA it showed me all stuff of Arma 2 and now it doesn´t. Why?

if you have the oringal arma2 files you can make a mod out just by using the arma2 game files thats how i did it with out buying combined arms.

No help needed anymore guys, but thanks. I tried to play some mods. I solved the problem by deleting all the mod folders of the starting option

I need some help. I had a glitch come up where when launching OA, Arma 2 assets wouldnt appear. I kinda fixed this. Now for some reason, the first option in the "Units" tab for the editor wont appear so the "Men" tab. Anyone got some advice? It would be much appreciated...

My God, it's been a while since I played Arma 2.

I don't know if you've done the usual Steam bs circlejerk of verifying game files so give that a try.

If that fails, there's a patch you can get for "combining" Arma 2 and OA. I believe you get it from Arma Launcher or something, I don't know what people are using nowadays. Google Arma 2 CO patch if you're really lost.

indeed dont surprise me when arma 2 used to go into CO mode on its own, arma 3 comes out and now arma2 is all broken up and since ppl these days want and expect everything *easy* auto* they jut give up on arma 2 and buy 3... so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sad.

and on topic have you ever searched google what u said? all the bs and patches which are menat FOR combined operations so a game already made into CO...

Funnily enough, when I bought Combined Ops, I got Arma 2 and Op Arrowhead as separate games. There's a patch you can get which basically combines them into Combined Ops and creates a shortcut for it on the desktop. It's the dumbest thing but the game is ancient.

I use the Operation Arrowhead Beta (Obsolete)
Not 100% but used to be walk-throughs on armaholics for this issue.

hey i sent you a friend request was wondering if you could help me out with getting that patch i know im asking from an ancient thread but ive always wanted to play the dayz mod
