Triyng ot get through this DLC but having one hell of a time. Im on the 2nd mission, Patrol, where you have to partol the circled area and dstroy any enemies you bump into. I have hit all the areas marked with question marks and the mission just wont end. Im driving all over and have no idea where to look next. Ive checked out everything, so much that i have refueld my APC 2x now.
ANyone know how to find all the enemy I am supposed to? There are no walkthroughs online for this DLC.

Well, I just cleared the mission Patrol, it took me over 2 hours not counting numerous saves. You just have to really search the whole area. The next mission has you following your german shepard that is tracking some escaped prisoners and took me just 15 mins, nice break there.

I think im on the last mission now, called Fireworks, but not sure. We have found the last camp of the rebels and I need to mark it with laser so that the missile battery can take them out. Greay DLC so far, but those first 2 missions were rather hard since finding the enemy is so vague. Rewading though once you complete the mission. Lost some troops along the way though.

Seems there are many more mission in this campaign so if you like Arma II its well worth the cost. I got past the last mission but then had to skip the next mission which involved flying a helicopter, I got past the first 2 objectives but my heli was getting damaged and I couldnt control it. I finally gave up. You can skip missions by doing the following: hold down left shift and then press the NUM PAD - key, then you type endmission.

"There will be flood" is the last mission. The english is pretty bad in the misions! Its great though. You are assigned to rescue 14 people from a flood. Men and woman are trapped in buildings and on roof tops and you have a boat and go around and find them. Really different. The mission before that has you piloting a fighter jet. Finished the game today, took lots of time.

howd you get the escort part of the mission patrol to end? i get the ambulances to safety and it wont trigger anything...

well, I did not have any troubles. You followed the path on the map? Its a twisted path on the road that leads roughly south if I remember right. You have to take them that one way I think, follow it exactly. Once you get them to the end it triggers an audio message in the vehicle and then the ambulances drive off on their own past you. I made sure that the path was cleared of all enemies before we went. hardest thing for me was keeping those ambulances on the road and not getting stuck on rocks and stuff, I think the drivers are drunk!

my DLC wont work

Do a search and see if you can find my post, I started one back when I first got the DLC and had the same problem as you, it wouldnt show up. I was able to get it to run failrly easily and posted what I did. Its been long enough now that I dont remeber the procedure.

Start steam as administrator and run ArmA OA once in this session. It gonna install it (a window which telling you it's installing the files with a progress bar. Now you can use steam as admin or not it doesn't matter. ACR is now available through campain menu and is nammed "Silver Lion". I hope it helps.

I couldn't end the "wind storm mission" after several attempts, killing all enemies... So End Mission we salute you !

Been over 3 years since I did this but if I had to guess, i think you use the binoculars to call out the targets maybe by holding down the right mouse button over them when you have them in the crosshairs. Maybe you use a drone and mark them with a laser? With the laser you left click to bring the laser up and then hold the crosshairs over top of the target for some time until it is called out. You have to keep the crosshairs on the target even as it moves and it can be hard to do. I think that is the main 2 ways you mark targets. If you dont have a UAV then it must be binoculars. Im playing Arma 3 now and did a mission using the binocluars. I cant remember Arma 2 so well. i hope that helps.

Thanks. I have used Steam forums quite a few times to help numerous problems on games. I looks at it as paying it forward. We all have to help each other. I love steam for sure. Great thing we have here.

That Helicopter mission is really hard, but you can fly back to base to repair/refuel/rearm the helicopter as you see fit (there are repair, fuel and ammo trucks on the hangars). Just use Manual fire to use the lock on Anti-tank missiles and try at all costs to avoid Infantry with Iglas (anti-air missiles) they are allways on the mountains. As soon as you take damage jsut relax and fly back to Airbase to repair the chopper and shoot more missiles again, rinse and repeat, you dont need the cheat to finish the mission... Trust me
