Fix for those having Battleye Issues

Hey Guys,
Noticed that our server has been fairly empty both today and yesterday. after asking around i heard about this Battleye fail that many seem to be affected by.
well ive been getting people back on all morning and this has method has been fairly effective.

First of all close down Steam completely. ( make sure to check you hidden icons menu bottom right.. that Steam isnt running in the background )

Now right click on Steam on your Desktop and click on "Run as Administrator".

Go to your Library and RIGHT click on Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead.

Click on properties

Go to LOCAL FILES

Click on Browse Local files

Scroll down the list and you will see 3 applications

ARMA2OA
ARMA2OA_BE
and just a little further down you will see..
arma2oaserver

Delete the 3 of these.

Dont worry you are about to recreate them.

Now close that window and in your LOCAL FILES tab click on "Verify integrity of game Cache"

this will take a minute or so... let it complete.

When it has completed it will say 1 or 5 or so files have failed to validate and will be recovered.

Now go to your Steam Library and double click on Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead

Click on PLAY

Let it complete what ever update

Wait for the game to load and reach the main menu

When you reach the main menu close it again

No go to your Mod launcher (DayZ Commander,DayZ Launcher.. etc)

Choose your server.

A black CMD window will open up

DO NOT CLOSE IT!!!!!!!

Let the Battleye update complete

The server should load as normal.

follwed your advice, but when we opened OA from steam to play it asked if we wanted ti install BE, said yes and blue screened again

Another update will be rolled out on wendesday which should fix this issue

Then the Blue screen is a corrupted file in Battleye. If you open the run box and type regedit you will be able to access the registry. you can then search through it for your Battleye. clean out the Battlee registry file. you then need to download the update from http://www.battleye.com/ and manually place the exe in. I hope that make sense. Here is a better explination of it

If you are not familiar with the files and folders within the regisry then i suggest waiting for the update Hazzardous Playground mentioned rather than messing with files in your computers regisrty

If you are getting BSOD please be patient until tomorrow for the update. Messing with your regisrty files can be messy and patience could save you hassle in the long run. This fix applies more for the likes of repetative update failure or continous windows of update initialized.

When the box comes up that says "updating battleeye" just leave it open, it takes a few minutes to update.

Is there anyway to donate money to BattlEye Dev's? I would love to support so much.... Anti-Quality, i mean, the only Anti-Cheat that sucked more was the Easy Anti-Cheat but thats another story

BS, lets me join the server then says 'closing game to update BE Client' then the game becomes unresponsive, which even after waiting for 30mins, still there. Any others got this bs happening too?

Had the same sh*t 4 hours ago... I've restarted the game like 20 times and still it only crash... Then i "Ragequited" to desktop and killed the arma2 process via Taskmanager and Voilá Lé Random .bat file appeared which updates BattlTrash...

hey peggasus. i spoke to last night on a youtube comment. ive tried ll these sollutions and still no fix. i guess the only thing left to do is wait for a patch. :(
