Epoch How To Snipe And What To Take
My First Recommendation Of What A Sniper Should Take And Do When Doing PVP/AI Missions

For Epoch:

Primary Weapon: DMR Or MK17 Sniper SD

Secondary Weapons: M107 (For Taking Down Helicopters) M4A1 CCO SD (Zombie's/Close Range PVP)

Pistol: M9SD

Clothing: Bandit Ghillie/Normal Ghillie Suit

Backpack: Large Gunbag/Coyote Backpack

Accessories: Range Finder And NV Goggles

Take A Map And Compass

Take Food And Drink

Take Spare Ammo For Your DMR And Other Gun's

Car/Bike (Optional)

Take Gold (Optional)

Take Grenades (Optional)

What To Do

When In A PVP Situation

Be Silent When Moving.

Shoot Only If It Will Hit To Kill.

Bring Out That M4 When They Get To Close For Comfort.

Once Firing Your Non SD Weapon Run To A New Area And Repeat

When Hit Run To Better Cover (If There Is Non Go For Bushes/Behind Tree's

Don't Talk Best To Use Skype (If You Have Team Mates)

If You Get Surrounded Get Your Team Mate's To Give A Helping Hand

Every Moment Counts After The First Shot (If It Does Not Kill)

Once You Have Killed You Enemy Make Sure That He Does Not Have Sniper Friend Scout The Area Before You Loot

After You Have Looted Get As Far Away As Possible Like Your Base, Deep Woods.

Do Not Stick Around If Anyone Heard Those Shots They Will Investigate Or Leave The Area

Use That AS50 Or M107 You Have Against Cars/Helicopters The DMR Is Not The Best Against Them

When Doing AI Missions

Be Silent

Stay A Safe 500-600M Away When Using Non Supressed Weapons

Be Careful Of Other Players They Come Out When You Taken The AI Out

AI Are OP So Be Very Carful When Looting Make Sure There All Dead (Put A M9 Bullet In All The AI Heads)

AI Have Only 1-2 Snipers Rest Are AI With M249s And M4A1's

Some AI Missions Are Easer Than Other's Hard One's I Recommend MK17 Sniper SD And For Easy Ones Go For DMR

AI Will Flank You Change Position Frequently To Avoid Being Surrounded

If You Do Get Surrounded Find A Building To Hide In.

Only Use The AS50/M107 You May Or May Not Have Against Helicopters And Cars Like I Said For PVP DMR Is Good For Taking Drivers Out

Is It A good thred and is it very good for sniping?

It's helpful for those that will never really be snipers. I've noticed in many games you have the core group that will pick up any old rifle and run around like it's Call of Duty or some crap, then you have the 2 or 3 people that can snipe and get away with it. A good majority of people that try to snipe are usually the easiest kills anyone else can get because they all hide in obvious spots where the sun/moon/terrain give them away.
Your guide will help non-snipers pretend they're snipers and maybe get a few kills, but in the end, the good snipers just do it.

Like Datawarlock said, this is good for some people that may just be starting with a sniper rifle, or just giving it a try to see what it is like, but for people like me that have been using a sniper since I put my hand on the mouse, this stuff comes naturally. For a sniper, my personal preference is the M40A3, just because it matches the ghillie suit and any bushes or trees that you can hide in. But overall, this is decent advise if you don't really know how to start sniping. It may have been a good idea to touch on the zeroing because it is very important.

Quick math problem to determine distance if you dont have a rangefinder:

First you need a sniper, such as a DMR that can zoom, and zoom all the way in.
This will be fastest if you use a calculator until you get the equasion down and can do it on the sopt.

(Height of player) 1.8m (.9m if crouching) x1000 / # of mil dots in height (At full zoom)

So if the target was 900m away and standing, the equasion would look like this:

1.8 x 1000 / 2 = 900m

If they were courching it would look something like this:

.9 x 1000 / 1 = 900m

Hope this helped!
