Hi, I ran into a problem that after installing the patch for Arma 2 + Windows 11 24H2, the game starts crashing after 10 minutes, closing steam instead.

I'm not the only one with this problem, there are at least 2-3 such people on the server I'm playing on.

The only solution for that is to go back to a version prior to 24H2, Windows as always updates and breaks everything, it is not the game's fault nor Battleye's, the problem is Windows 11 24H2

Ghost is correct. I went back to W10 & haven't had an issue since

Everything is listed in the store - "From January 1, 2024, the Steam client will only support Windows 10 and later versions."

Def a latest windows problem with battle eye as other have said either go back to windows 10 or roll back to windows 11 23h2, both methods worked for me..it's that or find a passworded server without battleye..a clan server maybe , whatever its ruining an already player limited game:(

There is no patch that works, as I said on Discord a long time ago...

It's very difficult to fix something that isn't broken...

That's the patch that Dwarden made, and it's already on v2 and it still doesn't work since the game crashes after X amount of time

Everyone who tried that patch has complained that it crashes, so it doesn't work.
(I never tried it because I use win10, but everyone who tried it complained on discord that it crashes.)

And that happens because the problem is not Battleye or the game, there's nothing to fix because nothing is broken, the problem is Windows 11, the last update 24H2 broke everything.

And for that reason if you go back to windows 10 or any version prior to the 24H2 update everything will work normally.

Please report that stuff to microsoft. Otherwise they probably dont even know if there are problems. Use the microsoft feedback function or the microsoft forums!
