Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead Failed to start [FIX FOUND]

I have uninstalled and reinstalled nearly 3 times now, deleted the BE folder in common files, expansions, and the BE setup folder. constantly it does not work. When i launch the game it says in a command prompt window "failed to launch game". CCG launcher doesn't work either. I have located the main problem in the arma 2 oa folder, it seems its the _runA2CO.cmd thats corrupt, or the BE. After 3 installs and countless verifying caches and doing this over and over i still cant figure out the problem. i have used file assassin on BE and uninstalled everything. just doesn't seem to work. i CAN launch the game without battle eye or on 1.6.2 but no servers accept that version. Surely im not the only one. Any ideas?


Edit: In the arma 2 oa file directory theres a exe file called ArmA2OA_BE.exe. Running that in admin mode should fix any issues.

Found a fix!!!! After 12 hours of BS, i found what worked for me, and should work for all for of you. cant find this anyhere else. In the arma 2 oa file directory theres a exe file called ArmA2OA_BE.exe. Right click and run that in admin mode. this is after loads and loads of reinstalls and cache reverifying. i am now working with my server to let me join im getting a z/addons error but ill figure that out later, thats epoch or somthing. Hope this helps yall.

Yes i get the same error but i can lauch it manually but not through steam which is needed for overpoch NEED FIX

It doesn't seem to work for me, when ever I try to run the game, battleeye runs before the steam message comes up for running the game, so it thinks its already running
