arma 2 AO multiplayer in 2023?

Are there any living servers and communities left? i see on the steam player charts there are still ~200ish players online but there are only dead and dayz servers left in the browser. I searched online for servers and the one listed on bohemias website i cannot connect to such as the Takistan server with ~100 players (probably fake and dead).
Anyone know any living servers and communities i can join and play with?
I used to play a bunch of arma 3 before my computer died, now i have to use a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ lap top and arma 2 is the only thing i can settle with/

there are no communities. Servers - yes.
Known modes are Evo Red, Domination. Eve is often played.

There are two or three Epoch servers that me and my friends play on. Pop usually is steady around 30 people but sometimes goes up to 40+ on the weekends. Just check out the original dayz launcher.

As for non dayz mod servers, think its mainly some RU wasteland servers left. Golden days are gone

You can filter the letters DMM, I keep a Chenerus and Takistan server up. They are both Domination. Normally on around 2130 EST, sometimes earlier....

weird. I found going into arma 2 getting out, then joining the arrowhead server fixes most things. You may need to verify your files through steam. These are vanilla servers, so anyone can play.
