Please release a normal launcher for the game. It is impossible to run mods without a normal launcher and log into servers (dayz launcher is not meant to run other mods). And due to the fact that arma 2 cannot be placed in the folder with OA, you cannot go to the servers (throws it out).

Hi guys, just installed A2+A2:OA+all DLC after couple years and I just want to play campaings, no MP. Should i use some downloadable stuff like CBA or Corepatch to get the best (bugless) experience? Or are these fixes already included in latest official patch?

So that you do not have problems with the game and its dlc, install as I detail here.
Once installed you go to the game, right click on it, click on properties, then in the window that opens you go to the "beta" tab and select "Legacy"

If you are going to use any mod, you need CBA, a highly recommended mod is JSRS Sound Mod, and my mod 😉 SSL - Sky Sun & Lighting Mod

I must say the SSL looks amazing. Is there a way to make it work in campaing? I only see it in editor.

The mod since it is loaded is already working, because it changes the lighting and colors of the islands, what you see in the editor are 21 color profiles, they are for when you want to edit a mission and want it to look different, more saturated colors , less saturated, stronger shadows, etc, etc.

If the mission or campaign has a color profile applied, which is sometimes quite normal in official missions or campaigns, the SSL lighting is working, but the color profile that the mission or campaign has scripted is also working.

You can test missions or campaigns with the mod deactivated, take a screenshot and then do the same with the mod activated and you will see the difference.

I am currently removing the color profiles that the campaigns have, those profiles make it look ugly, I wanted to replay the campaigns with good lighting, with more vivid colors.

so i've been trying to play arma day z epoch for a while but for the past month's i've been getting the same errors and i don't know how to fix the issue

i have windows 11

the errors i get are :

before the game start on the intro screen

armA 2 OA

then on the splashscreen:

this addon chernarus is it a mod, or official? if its official, try to reinstall or verify.

i dont think your issue is related to this old update.

@Hey_Its_Iroh as @LX already told you, you are posting where it does not correspond, the error of not being able to play dayz is because you do not have ArmA2 standalone installed or maybe you deleted or the files were deleted in this case, the file "chernarus.pbo" which is the island of ArmA 2 standalone, you can solve it by reinstalling ArmA 2 Standalone or verifying the installation files.

Also depending on the version of Win11 you have, Battleye might not even work and the only solution is to go back to Win10 or an older version of Win11, since the latest version has many problems that have not yet been patched with some anticheats, such as Easy anticheat and Bettleye.
