Lags on high end PC

The game is really nice so far but trying to play on Ultra settings takes the FPS down to around 25.

My specs are:

16GB RAM
R9 270 3GB
i5 intel

Sadly same here, game seems to cap at 25 FPS no matter what I do :\

Okay so setting the frame limit to 60 (locked) makes the game run at 60 FPS however it runs in like slow-mo, like everything has a slow animation, switching the setting to 60 FPS (Unlocked) makes the game run flawlessly however it spikes between 30-60 FPS.

I just got the same, change any of the graphics setting and it drops down to like, 1fps for me. Odd, I didn;t think this game would be very demanding but it's a little glutton. I hope this isn't a problem for too long as I'm really wanting to enjoy this title to the fullest. :(

I'm about 99% sure it's a bug and not our computers, I'm running a i7 with 16 gigs of ram and a 3GB card, there's no way mine or OPs computer would be having any kind of problems with this game, I really hope a fix comes soon, got a busy week ahead of me and I really only have today to play it T_T

I FOUND THE PROBLEM!

Kinda...

I noticed that inside caves/houses my FPS stayed at a solid 60 on ultra, but the second I went outside it dropped lock a rock and everything was just in slow-mo, turning reflections all the way down in the options brings me up to 50-60 FPS while outside, much better than the capped 25 I was getting before, let me know if anyone else has found a better fix.

Have you tried the whole turning down the reflections thing? Curious if this fix only worked for me or not ><

So then this game isn't very well optimized for the PC I take it? Between these reports and the other thread with people reporting the controls keep reverting back to keyboard and mouse I think I'll hold off buying for now and check back later maybe and see how things are.

unfortunately I currently don't own the game, I'm looking into it a little more before I buy it. I have been looking at the discussions and I get what you're talking about, sadly I don't have a solution. Hope the dev fixes it.

I'd wait till this problem is delt with before buying the game, because even though this SORT of fixed it for me, there might be other people out there that this 'fix' doesn't do anything for, and that would suck.

On the other hand, the game IS on sale o_O and if you're gonna be playing it sooner or later...but the devs are really awesome and I'm more than sure they're going to have this fixed within 24 hours or way less ^_^

Yeah most definitely! I'm most probably going to buy it, it reminds me so much of the Legend of zelda series, that's what sold me!

Worked a charm for me, thanks :D Still anshame I'm not able to play with everything top whack, if I turn on Clouds, I get so much lag it'd drive a monk to kill. But that's like on my end so I won't hold it against anyone. Really fun game so far. :)

Side note, anyone else having issues with some areas not loading the terrain at all? Missing floors and such.

The game is laggy for me too. With low graphics something better but isn't normal for the game shows. In high settings I have 20 fps. Plz developers fix it, the game looks really nice and I want to play better. Ty
