Steam Next Fest has successfully concluded, and I’m truly glad that EverCastle had the chance to connect with more players than ever before. During the event, the game surpassed 1,000 wishlists! Thank you so much for the support.

Based on the valuable feedback received from demo players, I’ll continue working toward an even better and more polished build. My next goal is to announce the official release date. The demo is still available, please visit the store page if you haven’t tried it yet!

The game has some promise, but some issues right now, perfect for next fest. Most games feel the need to over complicate things. Simplicity in this case is actually a benefit. The graphics are good keeping a simple yet elegant design front and center. The story does not take its time but gets moving right away. Disappeared brother is a good introduction. Steam Next Fest Begins!! And Patch Notes v0.1.5 - New Language Support!

Steam Next Fest is about to begin, and EverCastle will be also featured on the event page!

During the event period, pre-recorded gameplay footage will be broadcast on the store page.
To celebrate Next Fest, we have also released a brand-new trailer!

EverCastle will participate in Steam Next Fest – February Edition

Hello everyone!

As previously announced, EverCastle will officially participate in Steam Next Fest – February Edition.✨

The event will run from February 23 to March 2.

The demo will be available throughout the entire period, and a recorded gameplay video can be viewed on the store page 24/7.

If you are unable to play the demo yourself, please check the video to get a preview of the game.

I have been developing EverCastle solo for a long time, and participating in Next Fest is a significant milestone and a meaningful moment for me.

The demo is ready, and the store page is now presentable, although much work still remains. As my first title, taking part in an official Steam event is an important achievement.

Nice graphics, but gameplay should be tuned

Hi, I played up to the gardener and had trouble killing her. Overall, it feels like the gameplay/combat should be tuned. It's quite hard to control the character, aim, and dodge the enemies' attacks. I felt like I was fighting the controls more than actively "playing". Also, when opening a chest, I think the contents should just fly to me, rather than me having to jump into the chest to pick it up. When I first talked to Black in the town, I thought the game had hung because I couldn't move the conversa...

Was fun, but needs some work

Hi, I really enjoyed the demo, but I think some things could use some work For one, the first time I played, I didn't know about the dodge button (I was playing wasd configs on my controller because that was how the game got auto set). Secondly, the button inputs on controller are kind of weird, but could be helped by giving the player the ability to remap them The controls still felt stilted though. It would be neat if you could fire from both aim and non-aiming mode, as well as dodge in both modes Dod...

Don't tie stuff to framerate.

I have a 144hz monitor, so I set the framerate to 150 in the settings, but when I started the demo, the intro went by very quickly. You should change this so that the intro doesn't go to the next sentence until after the player presses a button, like how talking to NPCs works (you can always have another button skip the intro altogether). The gameplay itself seemed to run at the correct speed, but I agree with the other users that it needs more tuning....

First Impressions and Mini-Review of Demo

This game caught my eye from the Steam Next Fest Entries. Overall, love the graphics and the gameplay. Its a style that is very visually appealing. Magic 3rd person shooting gameplay mixed with reacting to bullet hell-style attacks from enemies. It does need more polish with the UI and animations. Didn't see a status/skill menu where I can see how many points I have invested in leveling up the different stats.
