This game reminds me of Mars War Logs, Mass Effect 2, Rage, with combat similar to Witcher 3
Hmmm maybe its just me then :\ I guess ill be waiting until this game goes on sale for like 20-25€ incase reviwers can sway me. Im so uncertain of what to think about this game. Its like 50/50. I dont find it interesting, but that dosnt mean i dont keep an eye on it.
Understandable, I'm unsure about it as well but it does look rather interesting :)
Man, couldn't agree more with you. Despite its unfinished feeling, it was a hell of a lot of fun to play.
You say this as if the tanking had nothing to do with the game itself. It "tanked" and "got completely destroyed" because it was awful. It's not exactly hard to destroy a product that is held together with used tape and spit at best and the flimsy hopes and dreams of an overworked, underpaid developer everywhere else. To pull from the Zero Punctuation episode on it:
"it's bad. none of that wishy-washy mediocrity where I have to admit that the soundtrack was nice or that the gameplay was slightly more entertaining than lacerating my gums on the edge of a rusty tin. This is just all bad, all the time, to the degree where it starts getting rather worrying. It makes me wonder if anyone actually took time out to play it before release, because there seem to be more issues than pixels."
I dont quite see your point. You start off as if you disagree to my argument that. The game was broken and the reviews said the same. If you whana play the quote game, sure ill join in. Also by Yatzee "The cruellest thing you can do to an artist is tell them their work is flawless when it isn't." We as consumers NEED to point out if something is broken. Just look at the CoD series, the company goes by the focus groups and who are they? 10yr old kids and "bros" thats why theres no love for "Infinite wars" now. Altough, listening to the gamers can also be just as dangerous becouse the only voices that are heard are those who are in agony so to speak. As an example, you buy a product, you enjoy this product, you play this product and maybe tell your friends about it. HOWEVER, if you dislike this product, lets say its broken. Your little behind is going to get parked at the computer faster that you can say "Fa**et" and complain on some forum. Those complains are heard by the company and are taken in mind for the next developmen, which in all can be just as shooting yourself in the foot.
And to finish off, I could use another Yatzee quote "Pi*s poo dangly sh*t ar*e f*ck wee....F*ck c*nt willy willy w*nk pi*s m*ng."
I've always found the CoD comparison weird in these cases since a bad year for CoD is still selling tens of millions of copies. They're apparently doing something right.
Why would you go out of your way to pull a quote filled with explitives that contributes nothing to the discussion, and on top of that, why do this if you're going to censor them all? And not even effectively. Go all the way or not at all; otherwise you just look like a child who wants the cool kids to know they do know cuss words but also is scared mommy will see and doesn't want to be put in time out for it.
