Cold Weather Gear
Where the hell do I find the cold weather gear, every quest that required you to find specific clothing has had quest markers so far, this one does not, and to me the best place to get these pieces would be from the merchant city since they should be the ones that are able to get everything but its not there. Seriously wtf.... This game has some stuff going for it but the non-stop back and forth is really getting to me, after going to the same person 3 times in a row for a new quest that have nothing to do with each other has gotten me to the point where I just want to game to end....

Where it is? You'll learn if you go to Slums, mutant "prison" and talk to a cleaner there.
Btw, why are you avoiding sidecontent? At least two quests lead you to that mutant cleaner.

Yes, the game has a lot of backtracking which is not a problem by itself - the problem is endless respawning trashmobs design so you have to fight them numerous times.

I should of updated this, the post that help me the most is telling me that the cold gear is in the building where you rescue the judges son.

I ended up doing the majority of the side quests, the sidequest I stopped at was when I was asked to get great relics for the mutant valley. Was just tired of all the running around to the same places over and over again.

I wouldn't say that I ended the game at lvl 38, I could of beaten the last boss easily at lvl 20.
