It's my thread, so you leave, lol ))
>These games are bad
>No they aren't, this one is good for example
>Well I didn't really mean that game
So I'll just jump the gun and say yes, Technomancer could be improved, and I personally enjoyed it. Beyond that you're just gonna argue and retreat and shift goal posts until you're right.
By the way, you don't own Steam... you're not even a moderator here so you can't do anything, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. ^^
Liking or disliking a combat system in a game is purely subjective, but when it comes to specific well defined terms like "clunky", its no longer a subjective matter.
Its easy to notice how this term "clunky" has been thrown around with impunity lately, to describe any combat system that we dont like.
Strongly suggest you look up the definition of the term "clunky" and see for yourself how perfectly it applies to the combat in Dark Souls.
Thats not saying that the combat in Dark Souls is bad because its clunky, or the combat in Technomancer is good because its not clunky.
Just trying to point out how this "clunky" term is being misused.
Gee, I was just kidding around. What a stiff fu** you are.
Clunky: clumsy in style, form, or execution. Which is a perfect description of the combat mechanics in Technomancer. I don't get it, are we talking about the same game, lol?
But now I'm gonna unsubscribe to this thread. Forgot to before. Because your last response directed at me ended with a back and forward about bad games that no one should have to read. What was the point of it? You basically went from your subjective assessment to a withdrawal of that, to a j/k, to a backhanded apology and humble brag, to a repeat of the initial statement. Thank you for taking me on the journey with you.
This was just the right fighting style for me. Occassional blocking. And that's that.
I thought Rogue or Warrior stance were much more difficult so I didnt enjoy them.
Git Gud as the kids say.heh
you think this game is bad I've been doing research on Elex deciding if I want it or not. combat there is clunky, you auto target 1 infront of you and when it falls auto switches but you do not turn to face this new target, so if you keep slashing you do it in the wrong direction. then there is the simple drops, very little height that causes you to loose health if you don't jumpjet just right....seriously? at least in this game you can swap up weapons without standing still.
I played the first three Gothic games and liked them all, even though combat there is clunky as hell. Fighting mechanics in Elex can't be worse than they were in Gothic, or can they?
