Lunatic Dawn I+II+III Translation Projects

Hello, just wanted to announce that Helly & I are currently working on translating these games and the manual so it can be enjoyable for all audiences!

For now, this is what we have for Lunatic Dawn 1.

Ascii font is included in Shift-JIS char set but Korean is not.
Now i'm fining font file with hex editor,
but it is very hard to find.
if you can unpacking luna2win.pac,
please tell me font file is excist in pac.

Here we go.

This is the result of running the game in AppLocale, using Korean as the language. That's ultimately just mis-encoded Japanese text, so meaningless, but it shows that the game can display Hangul just fine without any modification.

Official Korean translation is already excist for DOS version
but it is trash.

1. It has many bugs. It occurs much lags in battle scene so
player can't any battle. Or pay at least 5~10 mins per battle.
(Just only run away from battle!)

2. Korean version is translted from Taiwan version (translated from original).
The client files are very broken in the process of being translated twice.
Some graphics are deleted and images are blining in plays.

3. Translation is very garbage.
Big bird Roc was translated into 'Big Ant'.
Hellhound was translated into 'Medusa'.


In Korea, Lunatic dawn is not famous.
I think the reason is due to disgusting official translated version.

I just want to translate this legend pack LD2 for Korean

어떤분이 취미로!! 개인손번역(도스판 상관안하고 아예 처음부터 번역하셨습니다)하셔서 만드셧다고 하네요.

나온지는 조금 되었는데 워낙 오래된 게임이다 보니 잘 알려지지 않았습니다.

예전 도스판이 대만판 가지고 번역했지만 워낙 날림이라 왕국 이름부터 각종 버그까지 날림이었지요..

아! 한글판의 단점이 있습니다. 케릭터 생성시 자판은 번역이 안되있어요. 그래서 루나틱은 한글인데 입력자판은 '뷀뷈' 이런글자인게 아쉬운 한글입니다.

나머지는 모두 도스판보다 향상된 퀄리티를 가지고있네요

Trying to get help from the person who did the Korean stuff but I am not getting a response.. He was able to finish this off but in Korean.

Theres a bunch of guys that speak english at degica who work out of Japan. Maybe theres a chance they can talk to artdink with regards to translation assistance? Seeing as how 2 game have already been fully fan translated.
