Ragnarok Edition is Playstation only (Retail version)

That doesn't answer the question:

If I buy the Steam game, can i (eventually) get access to all the content in the Ragnarok Edition?

I'm sorry but I don't quite understand the question. Are you asking if the content of Ragnarok is in the Steam version as well?
wesleyspipes Jan 1, 2016 @ 2:35pm
Yes, is the content from Ragnarok in the Steam version (or will it be at some point)?

Ragnarök will include five versus levels that won't be avaliable as Steam DLC. The bonus characters in the physical edition, on the other hand, are already available to download.

thanks for getting back. Ah, so the content will be exclusive to Ranorok, meaning pc players will never be able to experience the extra vs. levels? That's a shame. :(

I loved your first game and really wont to play at Zombie Vikings event that i prefer adventure style of gameplay from previous game than co-op/hack & slash experience. But there is one thing that i totally not tolerates, exclusive content between game on different platforms. (Warner Bros with excl. DLC to Batman games or Ubisoft and day one DLC not to M$ platforms). Such practices boil blood in my veins and can discourage the most promising game.

Sorry that you feel that way!

The people wanting the physical edition of the game have been waiting quite a while, and we wanted to give them something extra as a thanks.

The Xbox version will also have some extra VS stages, and it's not impossible that we'll do something special for the Steam Community in the future as well. We're still updating the game for both Steam and PS4 and recently released a free patch with a lot of new enemies, a new playable character etc. I hope there's still a chance for you to enjoy the game!

It's understood that owners of physical copy who waiting for there realise longer are expecting game with full extras nad DLC. But i can not understand way this part of game can't be available to the others.

It is not about that i wish to have some extra stuff just because at the moment i play on PC not PS4, i just like to feel that all of gamer community have a identical chance to experience same content, that way (buying retail version) or another (buying DLC to upgrade game). Hearing that in the future users from another platform will get next extra stuff and maybe users of third platform will get some different levels not sound to me very good. In my perfect world, users PS4/XO/PC can get access to all create content for the game.

PS. So great that you're put Raz as playable characters. I hope that not only for PC-users. :)

Raz is available on all platforms :) The Xbox extra levels are not exclusive either, and it's not impossible that we'll implement them in the Steam version later if we can find the time. Because of different deals and different publishers, some stuff will be exclusive, but we definitely want as much of the content as possible to be available to the whole community!

Thanks for answer, unfortunately i will not be the owner of this game, even that i really very like previous one. "Because of different deals and different publishers, some stuff will be exclusive" Sorry but i can not support something that i am against, its a matter of principle. In my opinion it's short-sighted strategy and brings the studio more harm than good, but what i know i'm only consumer.
Good luck

Why are the agreements not "timed" exclusives? So the only way to have all the content (currently) would be to buy all 3 versions. It's that kind of stuff that puts off some gamers. It's just disappointing buying a game (this case the Steam version) and knowing that I'm not able to play all the levels, no matter what I can do.

I don't quite get the strategy also - how does have some exclusive levels to Xbox make me buy that over the PS4 version with its exclusive levels. Again, unless the goal is to have gamers buy multiple versions, which is obviously a little 'wrong'.

As a big fan of the genre, I am torn. As Qamok mentioned it's hard to stomach a purchase when you're only getting x% of the game. Very frustrating. :(

I just want to repeat that the Xbox extra levels are not exclusive and might turn up on other systems at a later date. The only version to have exclusive content is the physical edition.

Anyways, thank you for your thoughts and your feedback! It's good to know the views of the community and we'll take it with us for our upcoming ZV versions and other titles!
