Should be somewhere on the right side of the map.
what exactly does the first switch do apart from open up more of the sewer area
and what does the second switch do
Forget off the top of my head what exactly the second opens up outside of another tick fight but I'm sure it's some stuff equipment. First switch makes it so you can exit the sewer and head into the parking garage of the basement which is towards the north once past the lowered bars.
Correct. The sewer is just to get to the parking garage which then allows you to reach the elevator where it's currently stuck at.
Im tryna figure it all out, but might also try and fight the furnace again but somehow doubt it will go well
Thanks for that. I was stuck as well, pulling my hair out thinking I hate to fight the furnace to progress.
I had the same issue, the game strongly pushes you towards the ticks and the furnace, but both are totally optional. (And after the recent patch, the furance is actually overpowered as hell, and one of the hardest bosses in the game.) It's a hidden gate on the left side of the sewers your actually meant to go find to reach the sewer monster camp.
