Hm, that's very odd... Does it do nothing, or makes a black border around the game that stays the same size? If that latter, then it's likely the Full Screen handler setting on the monitor.

The other things I can think of from the top of my head are some graphical card setting, or if something else in the system is priority-hogging Alt+Enter combo. I'll try to look into it.

In the mean time, Windows key + '+' to open up Windows Magnifier and zoom it 200% might help -- a bit ghetto, but it's actually how I do it most of the time, heheh. Really sorry for the inconvenience!

No, it's fine hahaha. Thanks for the prompt reply! I'll try your suggestions. If it's my luck it's probably from my messing with the screen settings so I'll try it out later.

This is a pixel art game and pixelart games suffer a quality loss with the default upscaling method. Here is what I suggest to do for best image quality and almost the same expericence like in full screen mode:
First go to window mode with <Alt>+<Enter>. Then press <Windows key>+<R> and type "magnify" (or go to start menu and find the "Magnifier" app in the "Windows Ease of Access" folder). Zoom in until the game no longer fits your screen.
This way you get a sharp non-blurry picture.
People have been bugging the GPU manufacturers to integrate this scaling method into the drivers for years with no success.

I solved my problem by going into my Graphics Card software amd catalist, my digital flat panel properties and selected scale image to full image size then checked the enable GPU up scaling option above. Hope it helps people x

BTW here is a picture that shows the difference between the default upscaling method and the upscaling method you get by using my suggestion. http://i.imgur.com/PRB50jC.png (The default method is on the bottom.)

Oh! Looks like the developer typed in the same idea at the same time!
If you want to bug the GPU makers as well then here is the right place to do it:

For AMD users. search for ''AMD Settings'' go on ''Display'' and activate ''GPU Scaling''

I got it working. Just activate the Windows 10 compatibility options

"disable display scaling on high dpi settings"

for the Finding Paradise.exe (right click -> properties)

I also got it working. It figures that it was my graphics software that was malfunctioning. Man, the most recent windows 10 update really messed up a lot of my stuff

I'm mac osx user. How can I exit fullscreen mode. Seems everything become blurred in high resolution.
Ctrl-Command-F does not work. It will always enter fullscreen automatically after it is switched to window mode.
