Reviving co-op partners?
Hi there! First off, needless to say, I love this game. It's a lot of fun and a solid stress reliever. Even better with a few friends. One thing I don't like about the co-op, however, is the fact that when you or your partner dies, they'll have to wait until the surviving ones either die or finish the level. So I was thinking if it were possible, it would be nice to be able to revive your partner if you can get to them in time. Maybe a 10-15 second timer before they expire, kinda like Saints Row. If they get revived, their health could be halved just to make it more balanced and fair. What do you guys think?

Huh, that's a cool idea.

Maybe we could revive them by interacting with their corpses while holding a food item, like a steak or fruit.

Yeah. Makes me also think that food items could be used for healing yourself or others. Of course, reviving your partner normally could just give only half of their health back, but giving them food could give them a bit more back too, if you can find any that is.

Personally I think you should only revive them with food and that gives them half health. After all, this is basically a second life that the original singleplayer never had. And maybe we should only be able to revive a team-mate once? We still need the threat of losing the level.

Agreed. Maybe only one or two revives per level, and only half a health bar after a revival.

Perhaps different food items give different levels of health?

Aye, no one should waste that much perfectly good ham to only give a quarter of a teammate's health back.

No, I mean meat would give more health then fruit would.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to. By that the large slab of ham should give more health than a supposed 25hp fruit would.
