Why is game so bad
Why is game mostly just punishing and not fun at all?

Depends on the gamemode. If you are referring to scenarios, arena or beneath, you just need to simply practice and get the game basics down well. If you mean custom workshop levels, they vary immensely in quality/difficulty.

If you are talking about endless arena, you're damn right it's punishing and grueling

This game ain't your average FPS shooter where you can just kill every enemy on sight with a gun or some sh#t. It's made to be hard as the devs have already said that with Beneath

make ur own lvl with as much stuff as you want and have like 0.1 hp enemys thats how to make game not punishing and fun :steambored:

This guy's left a bad review on MGS 5 because the AI is "omnipotent" apparently. I think that tells a lot.

I had a sort of argument on a PTTR review with someone similar. They accused DOOM 2 of being too edgy, because it had "too much gore". They also said on that PTTR review that the game was too difficult.
Then after I said he was bent himself (in response to him telling me "get bent"), he accused me of being homophobic.

You can do this in Beneath if you do a few runs or so and just purchase upgrades.
Its super difficult at the start but gradually turns into a slaughter fest for the player the more upgrades they buy.

The Pursuer was the last enemy to truly stop the player once they turn into a literal god until the overwhelming backlash that caused the devs to nerf it into the ground to the point where you don't need to worry about it.

He refuses to nerf anything?

If the entire point of Beneath from his own words was to be challenging then surly he would play test it fully to find ways that make it much easier. In this case, maxing out Spectre to Wraith or Brawler to Mauler and buy that black katana as well as the double barrel shotgun to kill anything in one hit would surly get nerfed. Ik he nerfed the speed of Wraith (but buffed the speed of other classes) but it was hardly enough to cover anything else that was mentioned. If he honestly removed or highly nerfed any high damage weapon from Beneath such as the infamous black katana or flaming spear then Beneath would go to ultra hard in a flip of a switch.

Or enemies should receive major buffs or give them new abilities and such.

The reasons listed above is what makes the main and mini bosses so underwhelming. If you took all of these high powered weapons out then the difficulty would increase ten fold.

You are 100% right that Beneath and Endless Arena are literal opposites.
Beneath starts out fairly difficult but becomes easy quick whilst EA is nearly impossible due to rng. I legit had The Crawler be the first enemy to spawn when the round just started so I had literally no weapons to defend myself with.

For Beneath a lot of the high damage and durability weapons need to be heavily nerfed.
Enemies and all mini and main bosses need major buffs.
Mini and main bosses should get new attacks and abilities, Iv'e already thought of a lot of suggestions.

I agree. The End can easily be killed with a single charged up Double Barrel Shotgun shot and it really feels underwhelming. I don't think the weapons themselves need nerfs, but maybe the spawnrates need a nerf and the bosses need buffs.

The fact that The End can die in one pellet volley that easily makes it feel unrewarding and unsatisfying.

The Shard Lords are in the same boat as well and are just power grinds more then anything else.
  • The Pyro should be able burn the environment and actually apply the burning status effect that enemies can gain when being burned to the player.
  • The Crawler should get some king of giant super jump or something similar.
  • The Deceiver should have his have no markings or injuries on himself when he's got his clones out and the clones shouldn't look at him as well as the shard icon on the compass being pin pointed at all of them.
  • The Centurion should hit the player and the soul of the player will leave them in a shadow form whilst following them so the Centurion and other enemies can hit the players soul so escaping is harder, The Centurion can also swap out the spear and use it for longer range but the player's soul moves faster with them.
  • The Beast should put his sword into the ground and snatch the player's health and heal himself and other enemies around him.
  • The Golem should be able to slow the player down to slow speed if in close proximity like the player stopping a Statue if looked at.
  • The Necromancer should just get a health buff and have more enemies for him to revive.
  • The Aberration should have a 2nd phase when you've cut all of its tentacles which involves a giant blue tentacle for its head popping out of the middle of battle field and 3 red giant melee tentacles pop out from each side of the island and have other islands rotating the main island so the player can avoid the giant melee tentacles that do high damage and have heavy knock back but have slow speed. The giant head in the middle should act like a blue tentacle but act like a volcano eruption when near it.
  • The Trickster should have The Saloon scenario made as an actual phase for him and as a construct level.
  • The End should have the blood shockwave split up into 2 then 3 and finally 6 dpending on how many shard lords you kill. His other attacks also get highly stronger the further you progress and take high reaction speed.
