How do you capture the pursuer?

Im having a hard time try to find out how to capture the pursuer can anyone tell me how i do it. I know its uses the capture device i just dont know how to use it.

i have everything set up i have to device and im in a spot with the pursuer

Yeah just buy it from the Ruins 2 shop and then place it down. It's been a long time since I captured a pursuer but I think the pursuer trap takes a up a weapon space, and then you press one of the drop buttons or something similar

its not throwing or left click and pressing g just swaps

I just checked back through some messages, it should be left click. Maybe check your keybinds?

I checked my keybinds and everything is normal. Maybe I glitched the game out

Options > Game and Input > Input Remapping > all controls are listed there with options for reassigning keys

had the same problem. except that when i press left click it just disappears from my hand and just doesnt place
