The boss enemies are so overpowered that they ruin the game
The game's pretty fun until some special dude shows up and one shots you. Doesn't help that they have obscene amounts of health. I can not continue to play this game with how unbalanced that is.

Scenarios

Alright, I'll go over each boss one by one and tell you a few tips for defeating each one, because most of them are easy af compared to the ones in Beneath.

Biker Boss: Watch for the lunge, use a bladed weapon like the long knife or a machete and attack the brain. As soon as one of his 'brain' voxels is destroyed he dies instantly. Else, just use a good blunt weapon and whack them in the head a few times.

Boxer: Easier than the Biker, stab them in the eye and watch out for any lunges.

Katana Boss: This one is actually challenging as he has a ton of HP and the Katana is very brutally powerful, but he's slow as ♥♥♥♥ and has the bad habit of telegraphing his attacks a lot. If he manages to hit you, you either weren't looking or it's your fault because dodging him is easy af. He also pretty much never lunges.

Big Prisoner: Shotgun ftw, if you're lucky you'll one-shot him with it.

Biker Boss in Prison, Electric Boogaloo: Same as the original Biker Boss. Grab a kitchen knife and you'll have a free machete. Watch out though, he starts in Rage Mode and will lunge more often.

Blockbeard: He lunges and can't be easily one-shot like the Biker Boss, but otherwise he's about the same. Get ready to sidestep or block any attacks. Try to get a cutlass before fighting him. Alternatively, grab a rowing paddle because those things are long af and you can easily bonk him a bunch of times while he can't hit you.

Big guy in the Saloon: Same as big guy in prison except use the revolver in the safe instead.

You just need to play the game a lot more. The scenario bosses are extremely easy compared to beneath enemies

I promise you that they're easier than you think
Bar Blackbeard and Katana boss, you can kill them all in one hit with a sharp weapon

Blackbeard himself can be killed with the ham on his desk + the chair
Katana boss can be killed with three Berserk punches

The Biker Boss only starts to jump into the fight when enough enemies are dead. He's got a machete and switches up his attack pattern when he's angry, doing a couple lunge attacks if you leave yourself open. You can tell if he's entered rage mode via his expression, but rage mode also lets you know that he's about to die.

The biker boss in the prison level starts in rage mode, meaning he runs a bit faster and does his lunge attack more often. It'll also be a bit harder to tell when he's low, but just whack him a bunch and he'll go down. If you're fast enough, you can steal his machete before the fight starts (It's hidden under his pillow, don't let him grab it!) and cut off his legs for an easy one shot kill.

The boxer also accompanies the Biker boss, but he's only able to use his fists. He still punches really fast, and he keeps his guard tight. But his legs are weak, so just shink him in the knees for an easy kill.

The katana boss is slow, but hits hard and has a whopping 15 times the regular health of a regular enemy. He also comes with some goons, but take them out and you'll have some great weapons to wear away at his health. The Katana boss will never lunge, but his bones are unbreakable and he doesn't take extra damage from headshots. Thankfully, he's slow and his katana is kinda heavy, so he'll give you plenty time to dodge a swing.

The Prison Boss is a big guy, and he keeps his defense tight. He'll go down if you stab his eyes, but bis bones are unbreakable, and he doesn't have a speed penalty like the Katana Boss. However, you can avoid fighting him entirely by throwing some food into his cell before the fight starts. Once you do, open the cell doors and watch him do your work for you.

Blackbeard is like if the Biker boss was combined with the Katana Boss. He starts out in rage mode, doing lunge attacks, but he's also got unbreakable bones and will not be bothered by headshots. He's also got a bunch of goons wearing black pirate outfits, sporting a little bit more health than regular enemies. Unfortunately, Blackbeard sits right next to his greatest weakness; the ham. Pick it up, and hit him a couple times, and he will have been worn down to about a quarter of his health. Pick up a chair and break it over his skull, and blackbeard will be no more.

I just run around a throw literally everything and kick anyone that get's too close. I never get up close to fight.

They're only annoyingly resilient, is what it is. - Overpowered in the damage they do? Sure. But it's kind of the point that you should avoid them as well as doing enough damage yourself. - If you get hit by accident, very annoying, especially if you don't have enough health left yourself. - Other than that, you just have to go for smart attacks, like finding or keeping the right weapons around. - Some even feel overpowered from the player-end, things like swords or long pointy objects. So I think there's an OK balance here.
Again, just be careful and smart around them. They're not a "boss" or more intimidating or dangerous type of character just to be easily beaten.

Pretty sure the katana boss can lunge, it's just unlikely.

He used to be able to in earlier builds where you still didn't have hands

The Katana Boss can in fact, still lunge. It's just very unlikely.
