Savage Mana is inconsistent?
When fighting The Chairman:
- I destroy a villain card
- Operative deals damage because villain card was destroyed
- Card lands under Savage Mana
- I use Savage Mana to deal damage
- Savage Mana destroys the villain card under it
- Operative deals damage again because a villain card was destroyed.

Alright. Got surprised by it but it is consistent with the wording on the card.
Good, I'll use it against other villains :shockjockey:

Akash'Bhuta:
- I destroy a Limb card
- Akash'Bhuta gets damage because a Limb card was destroyed
- Limb card lands under Savage Mana
- I use Savage Mana to deal damage
- Savage mana destroys the Limb card under it
- Destroying a Limb card this was does not cause Akash"bhuta additional damage.

Ok... ok... cards were beneath Savage mana, perhaps considered "out of play" or just their wording covered was enough. Alright game - fair enough.

Still, I wanna use this effect against a villain so let's try...

The Dreamer, first phase:
- I destroy a Projection card
- Projection card lands under Savage Mana
- Rinse an repeat
The Dreamer, second phase:
- I use Savage Mana to deal damage to a projection card
- Savage mana destroys all the projection cards under it
- Wording on The Dreamer card, second phase, says that if a projection card is destroyed it lands under this [The Dreamer] card.
-They do not however. They land it the trash :sacrificed:

Even if the wording on the card under Savage Mana does not work (Akash'Bhuta) then why the type is considered when Operative is active. And if type of a card is always "active," no matter whether the card is covered or not, then why it doesn't work when fighting The Dreamer???

Cards under other cards have no text. But they still have a deck they originate from. This means that they are only Villain, Hero, or Environment. That's why The Operative still triggers off a Villain card being destroyed. However with Akash'bhuta and the Dreamer those cards are no longer Limbs or Projections and are instead just Villain cards.

Oh... I see now.
Thank you for the explanation!
