NO content in base game.
I was shocked at how sparse with features and content the base game was for $10. This is not even a good mobile game and to have only 4 fights you repeat over and over is just awful.

And no deckbuilding or tuning!?? No campaign??! There's nothing at all to this "game" except a poorly balanced and conceived brawl one-off. I won't be spending $40 to find out what the expansions add besides more unimaginative heroes and villains, you shouldn't bother to spend $10.

The core game of Sentinels of the Multiverse digital includes exactly the same content as the physical version. With the core game content there are over 9000 combinations of battles. If you enjoy it, the expansions add a lot more variety!
I mean to each their own... but Sentinels was never a deck building game. It is a fairly popular co-operative board/card game though. Which the digital version is a pretty exacting reproduction of... without having to do all the math and token drops on your own.
Not being able to deckbuild is exactly what makes some heroes' assets balanced. It's a teambuilding game, not a deckbuilding one.

I have 9000 permutations of the contents of my pocket change right now, and it's about as engaging and exciting as this game.

Also, do not care that there's a board game out there that mirrors this perfectly, I bought this via the Steam store after running through Strategy>Tactical>Turn-based games search parameters, I'm not shopping for a board game here, I only care that it's a fun *game*. It was not.

You are being compared to PC, console, and mobile games here on Steam, with *their* price points; Fair or not, that's the marketplace you operate in here.

All i can say is do some research before you buy a game. See what it actually is, rather than be mad at what its not.

No worries, not every game is for everyone. Hope you have fun with other games!
