Things were looking really good at first then all of a sudden they suddenly turned real bad and my heroes were dropping like flies,
but I barely managed to hold on with Scholer and do just enough damage/heal enough that the lasers and remaining kraken of the environment took her out.
If it had gone on one turn longer things would have gotten real dire since she had just thrown out a bunch of fighting diversions.
That sounds like a band:
Miss Information and the Fighting Diversions
So, heck with RNG. My mint badges will come down to whatever random goof ball joins my team and does something stupid on their turn. I can't even make a suggestion and hit rewind.
Well at least you can win a Mint based on your actions ( SP ones). About the MP, i think you could always try to go for the unlock searching for a group in the forums or something.
Sidenote: I also drew up diversion, clues, and environment cards that didn't have hp and instead, forced me to discard/destroy cards. So for a whole three turns I couldn't hit anything since she hadn't flipped and I was a sitting duck to all her attacks.
And who ever shows, shows. I don't plan on ever kicking a person who joins in. That seems like a really jerk, anti-social move.
But that doesn't mesh well with the idea of getting a mint multiplayer, because you only have one shot.
And while most players I meet are actually highly skilled... even the skilled players often speed vote decisions so fast you can't warn them that we're experiencing a corner case where they're making a really bad call (for example, killing a krakon's victem, redirecting them to us for the rest of the game).
Actually, I think I'd appreciate some kind of lobby chat channel. I don't know if any of the players I've previously met are present, etc.
Very slow to start. She ended up with Diversionary tactics twice and after the second turn had three diversions and a clue out on the table. I think its unique that you can't actually damage her until she gets the clue cards out.
And yes, that leaking room card is a bastard.
By the time she flipped, there were two krakens out. That coupled with villain damage took Fanatic right out without me being able to play her ressurection card.
The scholar is great for tanking damage cause he just keeps healing himself. I wasn't able to do much with him in this scenario though.
And Ra goes down with the ongoing psychic damage she does every turn.
And once the laser comes out, it coupled with the psychic damage from Miss ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ takes out Scholar. This is harder then I thought it would be.
And down I go! It was more the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ environment then anything that killed me on this one. I like the challenge though. Let's try this ♥♥♥♥♥ again!
EDIT: So my second go at her, she didn't end up with 2 diversionary tactics so it was less of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I was able to keep the environment in check a bit better but it took longer to get all the clues out. Scholar's "Don't Dismiss Anything" was a big help.
It seemed a bit bleak but a Offensive Transmutation to her got me a bit of time.
And between psychic damage from her, the lasers and the kraken it came down to just The Scholar. I ended up losing again just due to the random environmental effects. I might have to come back to this one.
