Unbeatable Weekly One-Shot
Weekly One Shot 320: Ultimate Showdown 4/4 appears to have changed. The seed is apparently not quite the same and it appears to now be impossible to beat it.

From the discussions, you could wait 3 turns for Meteor Storm to be drawn from the environment deck without getting anyone in your team killed. As it is, it was rather difficult to have even a single hero alive by the end of turn 3, and when I did it wasn't Meteor Storm but Pervasive Red Dust.

I have a feeling that the cards no longer line up the same way and that this game is now impossible to beat. Am I missing something? Does anyone know if other old challenges have had their card order changed by updates?

Anything that was released prior to (I believe) Sentinels of Earth-Prime digital has unfortunately had its seed changed, which means those older one-shots may be significantly more difficult now. :C And/or impossible. But then again, I'm sure someone could come up with something if the alarm were sounded enough...

I honestly don't think this one is theoretically possible. The vigilance ongoing and al the damage boosts means heroes die after playing 2 cards, damage from Iron Legacy is irreducible, and they don't have cards to deal with his redirection.

I've been grinding at that one recently and I think its ALMOST possible, you pretty much need a way to line up Fanatic to use Consecrated Ground(via Luminary Incap) into Wrath for all of IL's HP, but I haven't been able to divine the path that would get Fanatic to low enough HP while surviving to resolve it, you pretty much would have to give Fanatic as much card draw as you can, and figure out the wiggly math to get her to live that long(Pervasive Red Dust lets you recycle an Aegis, so you do get three Aegis uses)
If someone does hit on a solution, lemme know the order please!

I'm impressed you managed to get that far.

Got it! It is...precise... but somehow possible lol. Thank you for pointing out consecrated ground, I was trying to get Luminary's ongoing destruction to work and totally missed that Fanatic could do that too. Here's a rough guide:

When discarding, keep both drones, ordnance, aegis, retribution.
Play drone & power, deal 1 to bunker 1 to legacy (all future damage goes to legacy). Use funding (always discard, all cards go to fanatic). Bunker plays a card. Play aegis & power.
Legacy's turn - bunker gets KOd.
Play drone & power. Play ordnance but use funding. Bunker uses ordnance. Fanatic uses power.
Legacy's turn - discard the 4 leftmost cards (idk if it's important for reshuffle order but that's what I did), everyone gets KOd, fanatic revives.
Draw, search for aegis & shuffle, power, power.
You should've now drawn consecrated ground.
Do whatever (don't destroy environment cards), then fanatic plays aegis & power.
Put aegis in play from red dust.
Play consecrate, do whatever, play retribution for the win.

THIS WORKS, thank you, killing Bunker early to use the Ordnance on pace is phenomenal, and I wouldn't have thought of reshuffling the deck for Aegis early(as in my attempts, I was hitting both and Ground with raw draw power so meddling with precognition on the shuffler was not something I wanted to faff with)
I initially zero'd in on Luminary's Timely Disruption myself but found it just wasn't possible to hunt down in a timely fashion, glad I could help
Let this truth ring out!
