I use to have a combo against Chairman with Argent Adept and Team Leader Tachyon, it was so sick because its loopable
Argent should have: Inspiring Supertonic, Inventive Preparation and Telamon's Lyra in play, and a Vernal Sonata in your hand
Tachyon should have: Hypersonic Assault in trash
You begin by playing Vernal Sonata, Tachyon should get Hypersonic Assault. You use Lyra to use Supertonic's Harmony which would give power, you give it to Tachyon so she could draw the Hypersonic and then use Preparation's Accompany to let her play it too.
Now, if you have someone like Tempest's Reclaim from the Deep, Tachyon could keep getting Hypersonic and Argent Adept can get his Vernal Sonatas. The villain can't even attack with this setup.Hope you can try it to, Have fun!
SKY-SCRAPPER + MR. FIXER.
SETUP: MICRO-ASSEMBLER in hand.
MR. FIXER.
• turn 1 MICRO-ASSEMBLER. Play GREESE GUN.
• turn 2 MICRO-ASSEMBLER. Play GREESE GUN.
• turn 3 SALVAGE YARD, retake both GREESE GUN. Play it for fun.
Have Rook City Wraith incapped, and Mr Fixer just before her in the turn order and Greese Gun in his trash. Use RCWraith's incap power to put an equipment into play. Choose Greese Gun, repeat each round, win.
Probably that combo is stronger the pity is have to kill wraith. Note that normal bunker and normal Tachyon incap side can do that to.
Not as powerful as some of these other combos, but very easy to do.
You just give me an idea, mix that combo with a bit of legacy for dmg bonus and use hero power from AA or old legacy for double use per full hero turn might be pretty fun =D
Ps : i also found that vitality conduit and dynamic siphon can be activate by thermal shockwave from AZ so you can activate up to 3 in a a turn for only 1 damage on each if unbuff =D
As for power combos there are tons and tons of things you can do with Mr Fixer with assistance from other heroes, which is funny because alone he can't even come close to doing a fraction of these things alone
Alone Overdrive is a rather sub par card. Used on his turn it allows MF to use his often average ability 1 more time which is rather unimpressive when you remember you sacrificed a play to do it. It's also a nice bonus to play after Salvage yard. Now lets throw Friends into the mix.
Ardent Adept can allow MF to play Overdrive out of turn with semi regular frequency. This Yields 2 extra power uses which is actually quite impressive.
Any card that can give additional powers for MF to use allows this too notably Sky Scraper, Captian Cosmic and the Anubus Environement relics. Overdrive is a direct command allowing 2 uses of strike so if you use the other power first you still get to use Overdrive twice. Again producing 2 power uses.
Another note worth Combo Machine that Fixer has is his Jack Handle. As is probably common knowledge all damage dealt is dealt to villain targets includes damage that Fixer would deal to himself which makes Fixer a rather Nasty counter to Plague Rat but there's more to it than that.
Some heroes have cards that let heroes damage themselves as a "price" for a benefit. Scholar has "Proverbs and Axioms" which lets Fixer deal 3 damage to himself as the price to use a power. Did I say himself? I mean to all villains.
However quite possibly the craziest Jack Handle combo machine is Fixer and Sky Scraper. First of all Sky Scraper can let Fixer search for his Jack handle if he doesn't have it. Normally he can't search for his own equipment. Once Jack handle is in play the Fun really starts. Sky Scraper has a ton of cards which allow someone else to deal damage, often to themselves and often irreducible. Deal 2 irreducible damage to yourself and another target? How about 2 irreducible damage to all villain targets twice and that's not even considering the attack boosts fixer can get. I've played the 2 of them together a few times now and wow can they go to town wiping the field.
MONKEY FIST + SUB ZERO. With a dual crowbars you can hit your partner for the right type of damage to proc its abilities.
FIXED POINT alows him to play two weapons and keep it.
COSMIC WEAPON from Cap. Cosmic is specially good with normal Mr. Fixer.
With Localized Hurricane, he can deal a ton of damage and draw cards, which he can then discard with Augmented Ally to use other powers. With two copies of AA, he can really go to town. With Cleansing downpour and the right villain and environment, he can keep those constructs alive nearly forever too. And with the LH card draw, you can get all the power cards you need out rather quickly, inclding his armor to patch his one downside, assuming Cosmic doesn't just do that for him.
It starts getting really silly really fast.
Burn through the env deck as fast as possible, only stopping to let fixed point come into play. When fixed point is in play, dump as many of the platings from Omni-X out (I've had 5 of the 6 in his deck out at once), and the same thing for Mr Fixer...dump his weapons/styles out. 4 tools, 3 styles.
oh so messy. oh so fun.
