How good is the AI on this game?
Handelabra has a lot of cool games under their belt, and this one seems great too!

However, I need to know how good is the AI in this game, since I have no one to play with, and I kinda prefer playing at my own pace.

Also, are there multiple difficulty levels?

There is no AI, per se. The game is designed to have basically auto-playing villain decks, so you (and any optional fellow players) are the only ones making actual decisions in a co-op against the deck.

There are sort of difficulty levels, in that every villain has an Advanced rule and most also have Challenge rules, and then they can be combined for a final Ultimate playstyle.

Also Team Villain play is generally harder than solo villain, and OblivAeon play even harder than both.

Oooh, so it's similar to Aeon's End, then? That's great!

Thank you very much for the answer, friend. I'll definitely get this game!

Yep. Handelabra really likes adapting co-op games specifically, so most of their currently available games thus far--SotM, Aeon's End, One Deck Dungeon, Spirit Island--all are of the "co-op against autoplaying deck" category.

(The one oddball out is Bottom of the 9th, which is a competitive game that does have some AI in it.)

Oh, derp me, also forgot to say that each individual villain also has a difficulty level before the other rules are applied, as well as environments having difficulty ratings AND heroes having their own complexity ratings. So the difficulty level is pretty granular.

That sounds pretty great! I'm even more interested on the game now. ^^

Glad to have you on board. Sentinels is possibly my favorite game on steam.
