Spoilers! Dark Watch Expatriette Unlock Question
This will contain SPOILERS!
I have a question about the conditions for Dark Watch Expatriette unlock / achievement. I have read them and I'm not sure if they mean one thing or another. Okay I think that's filled the mouse-over preview popup from the thread list, so if you see spoilers it's because you clicked here...

The unlock conditions say:
"Defeat Baron Blade in Rook City with Expatriette using the card “Unload” to fire guns at least 3 times at Baron Blade to destroy him."

Does that mean I need to
  1. Use Unload to fire 3 guns in one turn, each damaging Baron Blade, to kill him
  2. Use Unload 3 separate times to deal damage with guns to Baron Blade over the course of the game, and one of those times Expat must kill him

It seems like the first from my reading, but it could be the second. It's really a straightforward thing but trying to do it as the first is a pain int he butt, while the second would be easier, sort of, to set up.
Explain the exact thing I need to do please?

I'm doing these for the achievements as much as the alt cards. Some alts I may eventually just click to unlock and try the achievement later, (Ra: Setting Sun I'm looking at you, and Termi-Nation Bunker which kicked my butt all over the place) but I'm still going through the ones which are theoretically doable for me / my skill level.

When I did the unlock, I did the first condition listed here. Basically, I got my guns out, fished out an Unload with F6 Tachyon, then blew the Baron away with Expat's guns.

And if you're having trouble with any of the unlock conditions, don't hesitate to ask here, or just go to Youtube. There are videos there on how to unlock most if not all of the characters, so you can see some of the different options you have. The good news is that if you have all of the DLC, you have a lot more options now than some of us did when the various unlocks first became available.
You need to play Unload and then use powers on Guns at least three times from that. The last power use from a Gun needs to destroy Baron Blade.
Thanks!
The easier unlocks are basically just Ra (any) + Visionary (Dark is my new BFF) = invincible if you can get the two specific cards out and avoid equipment / ongoing card destruction. Which is what makes fighting Omnitron in Omnitron IV :assassination: so frustrating. :2016imnotcrying: I'll figure that one out later once I've done other unlocks and learn the game / decks more.

I failed this one because I forgot about Barons "win if there's 15+ trash cards" thing... Which Ra + Visionary also helps with in not hurting herself when using brain burn. I just wanted to confirm so I didn't spend hours trying for the wrong thing.

I have the base game + Season 1 pass. Great selection / variety of heroes there.
Yeah, this ones pretty simple. I'd disagree on her power 'not being good' though, at least in comparison to her base power(granted, that's a really low bar). Expat's probably the worst hero in the game, and and her powers are a part of that but the DW version at least lets her abuse the one real advantage she's got (Hairtrigger Reflexes) compared to her rather useless base power.

My friends and I would argue that title belongs to Setback. We surmised he earned that name because any game we tried to use him in set us back.
I don't have the season 2 heroes, but for me Nightmist, The Scholar, and Skyscraper are (mechanically) my least favorite. Nightmist hurts herself with everything, but unlike Absolute Zero this can't be easily negated. Skyscaper is really odd to use, doesn't seem worth the effort. Scholar I can't figure out what he's supposed to do. He has cards that increase healing to himself and stuff, but he doesn't seem to actually do anything.

I like the art and theme for The Scholar and Nightmist though.
As far as Expat, she has her uses as a damage dealer, but Wraith is one of my favs due to variety of uses in damage plus support, and then there's Bunker. Or several other damage dealers.

But I do want to try to abuse Hairtrigger Reflexes with this alt cards +1 damage for her, mixed with Legacy +1 damage for all heroes, Ra's change all damage to fire and +1 fire damage, then Argent Adept +1 damage for two heroes. 5 damage to anything when it's played before it can do anything. Probably not the best team, but sounds fun. Could be good against certain villains maybe.

Lots of people seem to dislike Expatriette as she can get stuck with nothing to do for quite a few turns if unlucky. If her ammo cards weren't equipment it might help but then some of the ammo cards would lose usefulness to other characters as well.

Setback (while not totally useless) is probably my least favorite. Especially his Team version.

Sky-Scraper is by far one of my favs as she can do a lot of things well. Tanking and Damage specifically. And her Assembler Link is great for backing up equipment heroes.

Nightmist is extremely powerful if you get the trick of how to use her and her relics. Mostly it comes down to when do i tank with her in mist form... and when does she explode with power.
I prefer her Dark Watch form (which most hate) to set up chains of Spells in preceding turns (as well as minimizing her self damage).

Scholar is probably one of the top Tanks in the game and can do quite a bit of damage with a few of his cards.

Expat's main issue is that she's almost entirely a damage dealer, with very limited defence/support/utility options. Which would be fine if she excelled at that niche (ala Ra), but she really doesn't. She's got quick set up, but a limited damage ceiling outside of Unload (which requires a lot of turns of her doing not much), which works for Vengeance but not much else. Then there's Hairtrigger Reflexes, which requires specific set ups to really work, but she does shine when it works (gunning down Voss' minions as soon as they show up is NICE).

Setback is also pretty bad, but mainly because of the randomness. He at least brings a variety of skills that can let him tank/deal damage/provide utility.

Nightmist is a little like Absolute Zero in that she really, really needs certain cards before she starts to work properly, like Amulet of the Eldar Gods so that she can turn her 'self damage' into attacks. But she's generally got the ability to go and get those cards, so that's fine. Once she's set up she offers a pretty solid range of abilities, though ones that perhaps need to be applied with a little bit more subtlety and patience.

The Scholar is actually a pretty fantastic representation of his concept. He does spend a lot of time hanging around not actively doing that much. He'll draw cards, maybe give some pep talks for some pretty solid support abilities (extra plays/powers, recursion, preventing damage). But then he'll get serious and start using that fat stack of cards to become a nigh-invincible healing machine gun. Or toss his hand and casually deal 20-30 damage to the villain (twice with Scholar of the Infinite).

Sky-Scraper can be a tough one; I find her main issue is that she something simply doesn't get the right cards at the right times and doesn't have that many fixers for it outside of the links. But she's got a good mix of utility/support effects, tanking and damage, so as long as you don't get a terrible hand she can usually do something productive.
