Current working theory as he's a AU character... Haka may be involved. Not sure who to use otherwise as he's the only hero in his universe still around... CR? Vis? One of the Aliens?

Also was going to try a Team Fight due to his incap art for the foil version. Blade, Operative, FT, and Friction (for Highbrow) toasting over his body.

Dimensional portal opening: Maybe Gloomweaver, time cataclysm, or the Realm of Discord?
Only hero left: last man standing?
Maybe has to destroy a certain amount of software as well (given the supply/demand part) OR have cards that would allow him to play hardware/software, but not have it in hand (i.e. the demand, but not the supply)?

I'm just throwing stuff at the wall to see if anything sticks. I really have no clear ideas.

I agree with Haate that benchmark probably has to be the last hero standing.

As for other possible conditions:
Lorewise:
Since he works for a good Revocorp maybe you have to defeat Baron Blade.

Mechanicswise:
To match his new base power we could try lots of healing or card plays

Had an idea for how to simulate a world where benchmark is the only hero, tried loosing a game with benchmark at full HP (Baron blade pulled the moon into the earth) and all other heros incapacitated, but it didn't work.

Used Benchmark, bunker, sentinels and nightmist, against baron blade in the the time cataclysm.

If they're aiming for "AU enters the prime world" as the basis of the unlock, I agree that Nightmist seems a likely contender for other party members... the dimensional portal is literally her after becoming the Gate to all worlds.

Had another fail game earlier but lost the log due to a Windows Update interuption. Had to continue but no unlock.

Bench, Haka, D.Vis, and Tempest vs Blade, FT, Friction, and The Operative in Megalopolis.

Could there be the need for a prerequisite game for both variants with Dark Watch simulating Nightmist becoming the portal?
Maybe: Lose a game with Dark Watch (not variants) against Progeny in Rook City. Then... whatever.

could it require Benchmark as last hero standing against a certain number of villain targets (maybe just non-hero), so that heroes are badly needed. Could have team unlock but not exclusive potentially, as so far there haven't been team variant unlocks
