Dark Watch Mr. Fixer...
I've never figured out how you can get that unlock. When I asked in the past, everyone told me it took no effot at all. But I can't figure it out. She only hits the target with the highest hp, and not for much. The only way you can get her to hit Mr.Fixer is if he's only got 1 to 3 hp and everyone else is incapacitated. Either that or you visionary's 'wrest the mind' to redirect the damage to him, but even then he has to be extremely low for this to work, which would be difficult to pull off with all the damage-dealing cards in the chairman's deck.

Of course, I can beat the chairman easy enough. All you have to do is have legacy get out two 'next evolutions', the 'legacy ring', and 'lead from the front'. His deck only deals melee and piercing damage, so you can make him immune to both types and redirect all damage to him. And with someone who can heal (I used to use tempest), you don't even have to worry about the environment. Your whole team is now indestructable. But that still doesn't give you much chance of getting dark watch fixer.

I was thinking of trying the following line-up: mr fixer (obviously), visionary (for wrest the mind), and my anti-chairman combo of legacy, tempest, and haka (savage mana is also a good counter to his deck). This will maximize her damage, which should make it easier to get her to defeat mr.fixer. And of course I could hit him myself to get him low enough (I just used that tactic to get the 'that was close' achievement). And once I get legacy's combo out, I have all the time in the world to get the right set-up.

Rook City goes a long way to help make it happen. Scum and Villiany can cause Operative to hit all heroes, and Taurus and Tremata can each make her hit the hero with the lowest HP, which if you're preventing and redirecting enough should be Fixer.

The Operative is also a character card, so Wrest the Mind won't work on her.

Then I'm never unlocking him, obviouosly. I can't even get the stupid 'misdirection' achievement, you really think I could achieve something that's even more difficult?????

Your plan was to make Legacy immune to all the damage in Chairman's deck, put a Visionary ongoing onto the Operative, and then redirect it to Mr. Fixer. If you were to make Legacy immune like you had planned, and then waited for specific environment cards to be played, Operative will eventually hit Mr. Fixer with no other input needed on your part.

Just for the heck of it, I gave your team a try while aiming for "Mr. Fixer is incapped by The Operative in Rook City with Bloody Knuckles, a style, and no tool in play." Even wanted to go for your main strategy. Didn't get Lead From the Front, Savage Mana, Cleansing Downpour or a second Next Evolution, so everyone took a beating. And with that in mind, I was still able to swerve into it.

Could have gone a lot better, could have gone a lot worse, and it definitely didn't go the way I was expecting. The point is that if you sit down and play the games with the goal in mind, you'll get there eventually.

I just remember having my team beat the hell out of Fixer (including Fixer himself), and then Operative killing him via one misdirection by Tachyon (after she killed one of the henches).

Remember, for the unlocks, you're playing the game to reach certain set of conclusions. Regular ideas of how to play do not necessarily apply.

I just got him. My line-up was freedom six tachyon (inspired by the previous post), legacy, tempest, prime warden haka, and mr. fixer. I was able to use a 'synaptic interruption' to redirect damage from her to fixer (after using prime warden haka's power to heal her so she would have the most hp). Then I got the unlock. I also got my combo out, which allowed me to actually win the game too. Though i admit, he wasn't as hard as I remember for some reason. If I wasn't going for the unlock, I probably could've won without my combo (mr fixer was dealing 4 to 5 damage to the operative at the start, I actually skipped his last several turns just to make sure he didn't KO her).

I tried this using The Operative (Vengeance Style), and it definitely did not unlock.
I figured she regularly attacks the second lowest hero target, so it would be easier to unlock this way. And I couldn't find any posts of people trying that method, so I figured I would. No luck.
