Is that the beta tester hint that each variant has their own unlock specifics? ;)
Because from the lore it could be deducted that you have to have a team of all three. (possibly first having to defeat Deadline with the Freedom Five, then defeat Choke with K.N.Y.F.E, then have the Termi-Nation heroes defeat Chokepoint)
Edit: re-re-named the thread to its original AZ unlock discussion :)
Though it makes sense to have three different unlocks, as that gives us more to do :)
The phrase "He covered himself with a thick layer of ice." makes me think that it could possibly have something to do with the Glacial Structure card?
Also, Chokepoint's Kinetic Looter card shows her using Absolute Zero's gear as a weapon against Wraith, who tells Chokepoint that she'll regret what she did to Ryan. Maybe AZ's modules have to be destroyed specifically via Kinetic Looter?
I have been consistently beating her on turn 4 using Absolute Zero to deal tons of damage, with AA, Parse and SSTachyon giving him extra play. No luck :(
The combination of everything above is pretty exhaustive, and almost certainly too much, but it's the direction I'm working toward. The only problem is how long it takes to get these stars aligned with just this team of three. I haven't been able to make it through a fight trying to set all this up.
Good luck!
EDIT: With pricyprovinces's post, quite a few of my assumptions are apparently debunked. Awesome!
