Looking for help beating Challenge Mode Cosmic Omnitron

So I've beaten all of the other Challenge Modes now except Cosmic Omnitron. I've tried several different team strategies, but generally I've been trying to roll with 3 heroes so I don't get completely clobbered on the first turn. There's only 6 components in Cosmitron's deck, so I've considered rolling with 4 or 5 heroes but the additional damage seems to be just too much. I think I have had some bad luck with several games starting out with double Sedative Flechettes and leaving my team at single digit HP before I've even played a card. What teams and strategies have worked for you guys to take down this beast?

If you reeeaaaaally want to cheese it, the old Twist The Aether+Isothermic Transducer+Fixed Point always works.

Here is what I did to kill Ultimate Cosmic Omni on the start of his second turn. I had Team Leader Tachy, Grandpa Legacy, Visionary, Wraith and the Sentinels. Omni put out the Electo Pulse Explosive first turn, I had Vis put Wrest the Mind on it, and I had Wraith Throat Jab Vis. The Throat Jab meant that Vis wasn't hurting herself or the EPE, which meant that the EPE did 15 damage each time. Sentinels were there for more targets to redirect the EPE damage, and Tachy and Grandpa where there to draw Wrest the Mind and Throat Jab. Survived the first turn, at the start of Omni's 2nd, Omni blew up.

You can also have Omnitron-X/U on your team to add additional Components, keeping him on his near-harmless front side instead of the droid spammer/death dealer.

My team was Sentinels/Omni-X/ChronoRanger/SS Tachyon/Greatest Legacy in the Temple of Zhu Long.

Thanks for the great advice, everybody. Finally got a few more attempts in tonight and won on the 4th or 5th try with a team of Greatest Legacy, TL Tachyon, Dark Visionary, VG Sentinels, and The Wraith in the Enclave of the Endlings. The extra H damage hurts but you really need as many options as possible to slow him down. I neutralized his damage output on his flipped side with Lead from the Front + Next Evolution set to energy, and had 3x Precognitions in my opening hand so every remotely threatening card disappeared. First few attempts still ended quickly with double Flechettes. I don't think I'll be fighting Cosmitron again until Ultimate.
