Black Screen Troubleshooting

The game loads in a black screen for some of us, and will only work when played in a tiny window. But running the game in borderless window, or exclusive fullscreen causes the game to display a black screen with the audio playining in the background.

These are the troubleshooting methods I've used, and they've had zero results

-graphics drivers are updated
-changing compatability modes does nothing
-running the game as administrator does not help
-changing graphical settings does not help
-changing display settings such as resolution and others does not help
-adjusting settings in nvidia and catalyst control panels do nothing
-restarting the computer does nothing
-waiting 30 min for steam to veryify the integrity of the game does nothing
-redownloading the game does nothing
-resetting graphics options to default does not help
-unplugging additional monitors and usb devices does not aid
-closing 3rd party / additional applications does not help either

Amongst many other things that have been tried. What's going on? Did you not test the game before releasing it? After some research, people were even having these issues in the early release / review builds. What's going on? Please fix the game. I've spent all my time since release trying to fix this. Steam releaseases were delayed until a certain time in order to make sure all companies had as much staff as possible to aid in any issues the game may have. So please, start using the crew you said you were waiting for to fix this. I can't play my game if I can't see anything.

And yes, my build is perfectly capable of running the game.

x2 1920x1080 monitors via HDMI
x1 2560x1080 monitor via Display Port
x1 GTX 980ti 6gb
x1 intel core i7 3.5 ghz processor
x2 6gb gddr5 ram cards (total of 12gb ram)
x1 Windows 10 operating system on the latest version ( 1511) and bulid number ( 10586.545 )

It seems if I run the game on my 1080p monitor in fullscreen the game works fine, but if I try to run the game on my 2560x1080 monitor, the game just shows a black screen. Even if I tell it to run in 1920x1080. The game only works on monitors with a native 16:9 resolution.

Same problem, I only have a 21:9 Screen. I can just run this Game in windowed.

Its a resolution problem the game has. Not to mention the problems with G-sync. This is pretty sad that simple things such as these were obviously not tested. I'm playing the game on a xbone controller. I used the mouse to change some settings and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is the sensitivity terrible. Poorly tested game. Or pc port not tested at all? yeah, all go with the latter.

I switched off DX12 in options of splash screen. Worked like charm! No need to play windowed etc.
