Report a translation problem
Screenshot here. It's the weirdest damned thing. I tried reverting to an older save, tried verifying my game cache, and still this happens. I can only assume somebody ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something up with these textures with the last update.
At least I'm glad that it's not an isolated incident for me, since for a moment I was thinking maybe it was a weird artifact (just got a new GTX 1070 FTW like two days ago, so you never know...).
It is a buggy port, unfortunately. Seems like this graphical glitch started popping up after the last patch. I'm playing the beta.
Sucks to say, but thinking I'm gonna hang up the game for a while til they iron some of the stuff out more, like the DX12 performance and stutter in DX11.
Damn shame, because aside from arguable stuff regarding the story and the controversy over the microtransactions, the game has a lot of potential to be "Great" or "Amazing" rather than just "Good".

Thank you! Sucks to turn off a graphical settting (I kinda prefer Tessellation), but it definitely sucks a lot more to have those cables go buggy as hell and destroy immersion. Thank you again for taking the time to investigate and for sharing. Here's to hoping someone from NIxxes sees this and they fix it!
Yeah, its a pretty weird bug. So far i have only seen those cables at the helipad place. Im in Golam now and have tessalation on. Just imagine that place with this bug. .OMG!! :D

Patch #7 is live ( http://steamcommunity.com/app/337000/discussions/0/343787283752172067/ ), so could you please try and see if the Tessellation issues you are experiencing are resolved?

Hi there.
I just booted up my save at the area inside Talos' hideout before you drop down the long shaft to the window (last area before you encounter Rucker), and the bug still happened for me. As soon as I got close to those grey cables with blue tape, they distorted with some crazy geometry.
This was on the latest patch today and in DX11.
Could you send us a screenshot of the in-game map and send us a savegame? Then we can forward that to development and have them look into it. Post the files on any online file storage system of choice and post the download link here. Thank you.
