Space Calibrator

Space Calibrator

Combining a HMD with the Index Controllers
I have a Pico 4 and I've been potentially looking into taking my Index Controllers and Base Stations to set them up with my headset.

From my understanding, I would need to mount a tracker(not sure which one is best) to my Pico 4 to enable Continuous Calibration. I have everything except the tracker, I even have my Index Headset which should work as the dual dongles for the Index Controllers.

Also, can the Valve Index headset be used as an anchor/calibration point? I've got it sitting on a shelf in the room and it hasn't been used in years.

I've tested the Steam build with a Pico 4 without continuous calibration, with success, but your mileage may vary.
The Index unfortunately cannot be used as an anchor point, the point of continuous calibration is so that Space Calibrator can know where your some VR device, your VR headset in this case, is in your room, in both the Pico 4's playspace and the Index's playspace, allowing it to sync them automatically.
So, will there be setup guides in the app for configurations like this?

I've looked up ways on how to do this and found a number of different ones giving different ways of doing so and not sure what the proper way to set this up correctly would be.

I'll be making some guides once a UI rework of Space Calibrator is ready. For the time being you can do standard calibration, i.e. taking a tracker, a Pico controller, selecting them in the interface, and turning them around in the shape of an infinity sign to align them.
