Demo feedback - ship focused

Love the concept and as a fan of sailing games had some feedback on the ship and combat. The general summary of thoughts, Overdrive should be speed '2' and have a more 'all power to engines' thought. Stop energy regen, ramp up speed, reduce handling and when you come out slowly reduce speed and bring handling back as you come into top '1' speed. This opens up upgrading the acceleration, top speed and gives risk reward for using it to get to or away from combat. In combat spacebar - with overdrive tied...

Couldn't beat the first ship

Just found out about this game, and since I love pirates, in general, and Disney's Treasure Planet, downloaded the demo to give it a try. Unfortunately, after three attempts at defeating the first enemy ship, without any success or even the sense of having improved my skills, I gave up. For starters, the AI has perfect aim, firing (and hitting) shots immediately after the combat sequence starts, while its ship is still far from reach. Not only that, but my health bar reached zero faster than I could dest...

Speed/Maneuverability

I'm excited at the prospect of this game as it kind of blends a lot of things I like; Treasure Planet (with a little Black Flag), reading+decision making (Road Warden), and dice rolls+consequences (Citizen Sleeper). Not to mention the promise of Lovecraftian and "dark" storytelling which sadly don't feature in the demo outside of perhaps the mask in the church (?). Pros: The ship looks gorgeous and I like the overall art direction especially the character portraits. The voice acting ...
