v0.82.0 - Photo Mode

I decided to add a fun little feature.

You can now toggle photo mode with F11, allowing you to take screenshots of your pets as well as adjust camera options like lighting, depth of field, colour contrast, and more.

I've made Photo Mode work with both the Home Island as well as in-game. In future, Photo Mode may pause the game so that you can take nice screenshots leisurely.

I saw this game on RCE's channel, saw it was a free demo and came to try it out. Within the first run I made it to the top 4 leaderboard but didn't win due to some weird bug (or intentional design), and finished it on the second. This is of course, only the first map (available in demo), and I've got a couple of points about this game. First off, I'll introduce the strategy which I've somewhat come on. Hi all!

I'm excited to give you a first look at the Tundra biome — the first of three new maps being added to Stormbridge!

You'll build across this frozen wasteland that's not just beautiful but brutal.
And survival here means adapting...fast.

Introducing The Tundra Biome

After finding Faraday’s Lab at the edge of the sea, you board his boat....

You begin your journey, sailing off across the pristine blue.

Soon, tropical sounds give way to a gentle hush, and the breeze turns crisp.
Your breath starts to cloud softly in the air, and a shiver runs down your spine.

You are now stuck in the tundra.

Survival Gets Real

Fishing won't work, cranes have trouble poking through ice, and your electric burners can't burn as efficiently.

You'll need new strategies - old tricks don't work here.

How will you help your settlers to adapt?

Cold-Weather Crops

Tend to hardy new crops that shrug off frost and keep your settlers fed, even when the ground turns to ice.

Cozy New Shelters

Unlock snug, warm buildings where your settlers can rest, recover, and escape the biting cold.

Cotton & Crafting

Grow cotton and spin it into warm clothes — because a well-dressed settler is a healthy, happy one.

Penguin Companions??

Fishing may be gone, but not all hope is lost! These chilly companions can help you...but only if you can befriend them!

v0.81 - Production Metrics, Chef buffs

v0.81 is released!

Production Metrics have been added!

The chef bonuses now apply to Burger Stands and electric cookhouses.

Windhouse epic building has also been buffed, and had its cost decreased.

Clarification on Shields

I built a shield on the Shattershield dome island, expecting that it would protect the buildings there. Instead, I found that after enough strikes (the storm kept hitting it because of the shatter shield), shields fail anyways, even if you still have power in your batteries. Is this intentional? Is it because there was a shatter shield involved? I can't recall if the shield in question was a medium one (ie. able to cover the shattershield dome), but I believe it was....

Windhouse: The free one you get for unlocking the blueprint is fine but the cost to make new ones is pretty high. 100 coins, 150 Steel, 5 Titanium. I could make 3 houses, a gas extractor with upgrade, a gas burner , and a medium shield for 20 coins, 135 steel, 40 water and 3 titanium which would be roughly the same output plus you'd have 3 more shielded spaces to work with. It saves on some space but thats really not worth all the extra coins and titanium Quark choices Time stop: Has a variable amount of ...
