Switch Weapon - xbox controller

I just purchased this gem that I used to play as kid and its running correctly in linux. Sadly I haven't been able to find a button to switch weapon on my xbox controller. Everything else is working well. How do you switch weapons when using a gamepad?

I don't know anything about Linux. But... On Windows, you can just open the controller config and set whatever button you want to use for weapons switch to the mouse button or key you have bound to "next weapon" Or, go overboard with assigning buttons to the number keys. Again, I don't know if that works on linux.
