Unclear orders

There is this Alien guy with the Vulcan greeting and it's never clear what he wants. It's not fair to make you guess and then fail, especially not so early in the game when you are still learning the ropes and they throw you a fast ball.

I just want to say I really appreciate the cozy mode in this game. Being able to step away anytime without pressure means a lot. I’ve been dealing with a lot of pain recently and don’t have the energy for much, but this game still keeps me engaged and gives me something to focus on.

Thank you to the devs for creating something like this.

We've dropped our first patch!

Find out what we've fixed and changed in this handy-dandy list:

IMPROVEMENT :

- rebalancing overall opponent meatball brawl difficulty

- optimize sweet soy sauce and chili sauce fluid renderer

- improve UI selection if player using analog joystick

- improve crafting minigame button animation and particle for better clarity

- disable journal bell icon if there's no goals to complete

- change cutting board color for better cutting ingredient clarity

- prevent game window to be minimized when focus changed on borderless mode

FIXES :

- Optimize knife cutting system to prevent stuck or crash

- Fix knife cutting SFX sometimes won't be played

- Prevent frying ingredient to drop down below frying pan and make player stuck

- Fix meatball brawl progress bar value not correctly reset

- exclude rice from bonus ingredient list on meatball brawl

- fixes some typo in localization

- fix player cannot play the game again if save data corrupted

- fix sometimes game crashed when player select quit game from main menu

- wrong skewer cooked state now not directly make customer ask for refund (edited)

One of my favorite parts of this game is the humor in the item descriptions. For example, the chili sauce is described as “sepedas omongan tetangga”, which feels very relatable and is something we often hear in everyday life.

Overall, this is the kind of game I really love. If you enjoy cooking games like I do, especially those with cozy mode, management elements, interactive cooking mechanics, reward systems, character interactions, chill music, cute visuals, light story, and a bit of humor, I think you’ll like this one.

I opened this out of curiosity and played it for four hours without noticing. It's hard to explain. Technically a cooking game, but really more of a life sim with cooking minigames, character relationships and absurd chef battles against rivals. The artwork is genuinely beautiful. Cozy mode without any time pressure makes it accessible even for relaxed evenings. The relationship grind gets repetitive late game, but that doesn't stop this from being one of the most pleasant surprises of the year.

Taste Preference.

EG. Order: "A Classic Bowl, slightly spicy." Now, to get a slightly spicy taste means us adding two chopped chillies, correct? However. This is contrary to what was asked for. Can you see the contrast here? Has we know some taste preferences can simply mean adding the desired taste in powdered or liquid form to create that taste. If not wanted literal items were added to make the taste, in this case two chillies, customers would it & would most likely complain - I know I would....
