Performance issues

This game uses 100% of my CPU and slows down to an insufferable crawl... Pretty weird for such a simple game. Anyone else having perf issues?

Achievements

Are the cat achievements supposed to unlock when you get the cat? If so, mine are not unlocking—I’ve gotten pebbles and Kiki so far but I didn’t get an achievement unlock for them
