We are launching another major marketing effort in just a few days. The main problem right now is the total number of people who have the game is lower than required to sustain active players. We are very hopeful that this weeks marketing will help fix that problem. Please check back on Thursday :)
great to know that, btw pls feel free to suggest if there is anything we as the community can help to boost the playerbase.

That is good to know. Something we can do is mention this in game forums that are simular to this in some way. Lichdom: Battlemage, Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, heck, any first person game that isn't your typical COD type game. This game looks great and feels great. Can't wait to see how I match up against others.

There are many ways you can help such as posting about it on social media (Twitter, facebook, reddit, etc). Telling your friends and/or streamers/letsplayers about it directly. Posting on forums.

I always feel wierd asking people to do this but if you really like the game this weekend is a great time to tell people about it since there will be full servers and a sale. I will be posting a DevBlog with some info on the update tomorrow that you can link them to or just tell them to jump in game! At just under 1.5 gigs the game isnt a long download and its cliche but there really has never been a better time to jump in game and try it out.

Thanks for all the help! We are a tiny dev team and every little bit helps.

Okay. I already posted on some game's forum here but will do another push after the sale comes. If that doesn't work then maybe a free weekend or a demo would be another idea.

For all the people interesting in helping. If you put the actual Steam page link; "http://store.steampowered.com/app/335430/" without quotes it can look like this:

Hey all. If you are looking for a game like this but with PVP, Grimoire: Manastorm is a good choice an it's on sale this weekend:

Nice, maybe it will bring in more people who will actually play, I think this game is kind of fun but I haven't really had much time with it. I won a key from a giveaway and there were a lot of people who were playing then but I didn't think it would end up with no one on it after a few months.

Oh good!

Oh nice! A contest is always good too. Even when it's over, people never get over the 'wanting it' so they stew and then usually cave in and get it, plus, the 5 or 10 that win keys add to the online community.

Game should be announced on front page to get lots of view and players, only problem is Fallout its around the corner.

And the following week Battlefront is released. Sales are down for a lot of games right now.
Putting it in a bundle at bundlestars, humblebundle or indiegala can help busy the servers but it is a money hit. Start a Steam Group with event announcements, key giveaways and special item giveaways is a good marketing idea too.
