How do I get more spell uses?

Apart from getting copies of spells, obviously, the darksouls wiki shows spells (in this example sunlight spear) uses at 3-6. I only get 3 uses on my character but would like to get more.

Attunement raises the amount of spell uses? Did not know that....is there a cap to it?

He's probably new to DS2, i doubt he has that yet.... always better to have enough attunement while being a mage and not relying on items.

Thanks but no, I am not new to Dark Souls at all, it's just that this is my first "magic" playthrough I have ever done. I do have the crowns and the southern ritual band +2 but I'd rather not sacrifice half my health at this time.

Sacrifice hp is northern ritual ring, southern gives you slots. =)

Get your attunement to 40.

It is 99 , as is every stat, but I presume he meant you cease to gain spell usages after 70.

That is what I thought but I got confused in the moment x_x Anyways, I don't need extra slots, just usage,

Get summoned into another world as a White Phantom, particularily near a boss fog gate.
If you don't have enough spells to cast before a boss fight (I.E. Smelter Demon), you can always get summoned to kill the boss.

Your Estus Flask, Humanity, and spell uses will be restored.

The hard cap is 94 I believe; anything over that just raises cast speed, health, and whatever other secondary stats ATTN raises. For most spells, the next lowest cap is in the 50's so think carefully if those extra spell uses are worth 50 or so points.
